Question Will I Be Alright In The Winter?

I'mma probably get a Dodge Charger on Monday, I checked it out and everything but I put it on hold so I can think about it some more. However, im 90% sure that I'm going to buy it. But yeah it's Rear-Wheel Drive and it has EPS, and I plan on getting some good winter tires. A lot of people tell me RWD isn't good in the snow but with winter tires on it I should be fine right?

I drove a rear wheel mustang in the winter for 5 years and had no accidents. It was one hell of an adventure. It's fun...I just hope you're not driving any children around.

i drove a rear wheel bimmer for about 4 winters and its pretty horrible... i never got into an accidents, but i dont know if you are a stupid driver, so it really depends on that.
if i can recommend anything its to get winter tires.. that is the most important thing you can do.

you'll be fine with snow tire's, fucked without them.
Auto, heavy car, traction control, you'll be fine if you get the tires

i didnt use winter tires for the first 2 years and i would skid all over the place... and get stuck a lot. it was a royal pain in the anus.
but the final 2 years i had winter tires and it was the best money i had ever spent, im sure those tires saved me from getting into an accident, im sure of it.

get the tires, you'll be fine.
oh, and drive carefully, thats rule numero uno.

Put some studded snow tires on the rear. Also, throw about 150-200 pounds of weights in the trunk to give yourself even more traction on the rear tires.

Winter Tires should actually be mandatory in Ontario no matter what car you drive. I guess except if you have a car with high clearance and FWD with traction control than its redundant.

Anyways, the first car I ever drive was a 1976 Pontiac Grand Le Mans (older that me) and no snows. OMG what a death trap that thing was in the winter.

Anyways New car with traction control just get a really good pair of snows and enjoy the ride.
