Default Who played some ball outside today?

Finally got to shoot outside on my net. Surprisingly was not rusty at all, shot about 90% from the field Just before the Raptors game it started getting windy as hell, so waited for a break of wind to nail my last shot (always have to hit my last shot after practicing). Hope the weather starts staying like this soon.

90%, eh?

Maybe next time you should try something other than layups.

Hey I coach the local YMCA Grade 6-7 as well. However, I try not to do too much scrimmaging. I focus on developing plays more often. Today I just taught different inbound plays. On Monday I'm going to teach how to utilize the pick'n roll. Once I made them run suicides for every wide open layup they miss during the layup drill. If they keep making the layups then I switch it over to the left hand and there all screwed.

I'm going to school in Waterloo but live in Oakville and want to get over to Hoop Dome at some point during the summer.

What's the run like over there?

It's ok to be honest. I was there about 3 weeks ago and I figured that driving from Hamilton, it just isn't worth it. I'd rather do a run at Y then at Hoopdome really. But that's just me.
