Default Where are the best pre and post game places to eat/drink?

This is really tough, because it depends on what kind of night it is (with friends or clients...but let's just stick with friends/casual). I think for a pre-game, I like the Loose Moose. Good place for pitchers, service is usually pretty good, prices are decent...

Post game? There are a few places, but if I had to pick one, maybe the Bier Markt. You know the talent is going to be good (although sometimes a little stuck up), there's usually some sort of decent band and there's a hotel across the street...the Novotel...aka No Tell Hotel (for back in the single days, of course).

Different strokes i guess...

personally, I HATE the Bier/beer market. I've never had a good experience there and almost always get into fights with 40 something surburban douchebags.

Give me the Wheatsheaf. I tend to go there after Toronto FC matches.

I can't say i really enjoy the front street area for any establishments though. jersey Giant is OK. I'd go there if i had to.

The answer to both questions is Benzo's house.

But aside from that, Pre-Game I enjoy the Loose Moose as well, but don't go as much due to the fact that I was there everyday for 5 years when I worked at the ACC. Post game, I don't like the crowds, so If I am going to get drunk, I'll just go to "Scotland Yard" If I am going for a drink, I'll accually round the corner to the KEG.

convinced that Raptors fans are only happy when they're unhappy.

Does the Madison still exist? I remember going there about 6 years ago and trying to pick-up Manon Rhéaume. I wasn't sure if she was a lesbian or not, but I still try to win her over with some witty banter. Got a few laughs out of her, but that was about it.

Yea Maddy is still around..I avoid on weekends thought due to my hate of frat boys and an overrated piano player....nice patio though...and for post game drinking its a bit of a hike from the arena.
