Just buy UC3.

Right now I'm only level 20 in MW3, and I'm stuck with Scar-L with Red Dot (tried silenced but I get no range out of it), with Sleight of Hand, Quickdraw (until Assassin), and Marksman. Hoping to improve my KD now, finally know what I have to do to not get shot in the back.

I was thinking about that too but I never played the first two games so I don't know if I should.

Exploring the map takes a lot of time but it's an amazing experience due to the scenery.

What's everyone's character build like anyway? I kept remaking mine just to get a feel of what I would like to mix and right now I'm just going with a simple paladin build. Sword, shield, and restoration spells are the ones I'm mainly focusing on the most.

I'm finding it hard to focus on one character though because I keep thinking up of new builds I want to try. I have 3 other builds (barbarian, stealth mage and death knight) in mind but I don't think I have the time to juggle around 4 characters at once.

i go primarily with war axe, bow and destruction magic.

btw, you can get free training and use that to max out your build. find someone who can both train you and follow you. ask them to follow. once they are with you, ask them to train you. keep the dialog box open and then ask them to trade. then simply take your cash back. beauty...

I'm a destruction magic, one-handed weapon, light armour, married alchemist kind of character. I have a dog companion that can't be killed, which working out pretty well. I keep forgetting to use my "shouts".

I might try a thief/mage character next time.

I still got the basketball jones though.

I use one handed swords, destruction magic mostly with heavy armor (my primary of the two is the sword) and a little archery as well depending on what I'm doing/fighting. I use archery primarily for certain dungeons and dragons.

the zoom-in and slow-down time perks for archery are game-changers for me. wowza are they ever effective.

Yup, help BIG time on dragons, if it wasn't for those abilities, I'd never even bother to fight a dragon lol.

Just had a pretty crazy fight in Skyrim.

I saw a dragon flying around in the distance and thought I'd head towards it and beat it. I had Delphine, Erandur and Esbern following me so we were a group of 4; should be an easy battle.

As I went over there I used unrelenting force on the dragon (named Vuljotnaak) to get its attention... little did i know that not too far away from me were 2 giants heading over my way, and 3 thalor justiciars. I noticed the giants and the justiciars were fighting the dragon at first so I decided to hack away at the giants while they're distracted...

Unfortunately the dragon didn't last long at all and the giants and justiciars decided to team up against my group. Lots of running, healing and shouting ensues but luckily I made it out alive. It was pretty intense though

Those giants scare me more than the dragons do. One hit from them takes off about 2/3 of my health!

Awesome tip! I should do that once things start taking too long to level up. Or do you recommend doing it early in the game?

giants are badass. i stay the hell away as much as possible.

one of the hardest things to fight is guys with 2-handed magic weapons in closed spaces. i can't tell you how many times i have died due to a guy with a magic warhammer or battle axe getting 2 blows in before i have time to heal. in a closed space with nowhere to run these guys are much more dangerous than a dragon in an open field.

my problem is that i mostly fight alone. i hate having to rely on people following me, and i get my ass handed to me because of it.

I used to fight solo too but I found erandur and he's a great spell caster and gets out of my way when i'm up close in combat... so he helps a lot. If you're a melee character you might want to give him a try. Apparently if you let your companion carry spell books they also learn those spells... not too sure if that's true but I've seen him casting a lot of everything (even summoning flame atronachs).

Downside to it though is that since he helps everything die a little faster I don't get to level up my blocking, one-handed, and heavy armour as much as I could be.

always, always, always train as much as possible. you get 5 trainings per level-up, and i offer as a suggestion that you should use every one of them. i don't always do this, but i try to.

the free option is best early on when you have no cash. later you are rich as can be, so it hardly matters anymore.

Wow, did not know it worked like that. stupid of me. I always assumed that the NPC can train you a maximum of 5 times and that's it! didn't know it resets after a level up.

my buddy went hardcore at this method and was fastidious about his training. he maxed out at level 50 within 10 days of playing and is pretty much a perfect character. he's super badass.
