Tip: Beware of ads that claim your house will be sold in X amount of days or the agent will purchase it themselves. They'll buy it alright, just under their conditions. This is only a cheap sales gimmick.

tip: avoid being poor, it makes life really, really difficult. if you are already rich, do your best to help...

I work as an instructor for WSIB patients. Shitty money and I get berated on a daily basis.

But I'm getting promoted in the next week to handling patient files and managing the program for our centre for the entire Hamilton-Niagara region. Which only means that I'll have more time to be on here.

i work in key management - cryptographic services in the financial industry.
its a fancy word for, if i fuck up - the banks i do work for will lose billions of dollars... and my life is over.

tip: well not so much a tip, but look out for everything being "pay pass" style soon....
like at tim horton's with mastercard, you know how you just scan your mastercard and it makes the purchase for you... or like paypass at the gas station, you beep your 'fob' at the pump and it automatically charges your card.
yup, its gonna be like that for everything in the next few years.
they're even thinking of using the chip (sim card) in your cell phone and attaching creditcard info on there, so you just have to beep your cell phone at the counter and viola.. thats it.
mmmmmm technology....the future....wow.
