Default What hobbies do you have?

I want to know What else you do in your life, other than being miserable all day because your favorite team sucks, and so does work/school.
So how do you entertain yourself, how do you escape the routine? How do you spend your ''self time''?

The usual: video games, sports, hanging out with friends, etc.

But the most interesting hobby is that I write and record music. I'm not really good though lol.

video games, working out, also been taking my photography more seriously the past year. Been getting into bird photography, but I really need a teleconverter to go with my telephoto.

that's cool strung out.

My hobby is guitars. With two little kids my free time has gone down to about 3 hours a day so i don't have time to do much else. I used to build model cars.

Good question

Reading
Painting
Writing (currently in the process of writing a book for the hell of it)
Running
Soccer (Coaching, volunteering, playing, reading et al)
Basketball (Duh)
I guess sports in general
Cooking
Gardening (go hand in hand w/e.o.)
Movies (watching/writing screenplay/critiquing etc.)

I've somewhat decided to give up t.v. for the most part this year. Best decision I've made.

i'm going to give up on video games this summer. should save me about 3-4 hours a week. hopefully that'll give my enough time to start my piano lessons and pick up the guitar again. I have 2 friends who play instruments, one the sax, and the other the guitar. now all we need is a drummer and we might have a band

as for your painting, did you ever take classes? i'm not very artistic but painting has always been something I wanted to do. would you reccomend classes?

Yes. I recommend taking classes to understand a lot of the basics.

Honestly, I took classes at Michaels (cheap) and really enjoyed my experience. Just make sure you are sure of the material you are going to use (acrylic, water, oil) and just go in with an open mind.
