Default What to do in T.O.

Decided I am going on a trip to Toronto tommorrow with wife and kid. Looking for some stuff to do when I am there.

Figured on Canada's Wonderland and a trip to the waterfalls, anything else going on this week that would be a fun thing to do?

Some of ya's must have some idea's, feel free to share em.

Might also end up in London and ottawa as well......

I assume when you say waterfalls you mean Niagara Falls.

They're about a two hour drive from Toronto.

Why don't you go to a Blue Jays game?

True enough and NVM, they're on the road this week.

Hockey Hall of Fame?

I hear Chris Bosh is in town, you can go and tell him how much you love him.

The ROM and the Science Centre were a little played out after my first two visits but if you and the family haven't been, that could be sorta neat for you.

Another cool little area you could check out is the distillery district. Went with the family last month - great food, great ambiance, even better beer.

Ontario Place is nice too. There's always the usual suspects like the CN Tower, SkyDome should still have tours going on, there's always Gretzky's to eat, The Royal Ontario Museum is always fun, as is the Eaton Centre.

kensinton market and st lawrence market are great.

lots of live music and great resto's... pick up a copy of 'now magazine' - NOW Magazine // Home - while you are here and check out what events are on during the week.

I wouldn't check out Kensington until all the garbage has been collected. I'm sure that little area of the city is pretty pungent right now.

Caribana is a ton of fun. I'll be there this year. You might see an NBA player or two walking the parade route.

I agreed, it is a great place to go for stuff to do, I was just cautioning about venturing off, If snooch picks that thing up and starts reading from the back his wife might lose her mind.

I don't know if anyone else here used to do this with their families back in the early 80's, but when you were vacationing at the cottage, when you'd take your garbage to dump sites up in Muskoka, you'd stick around to watch brown bears dig through the garbage piles. Thankfully, they banned it (for a number of reasons), but it was kinda surreal.
