don't forget it was in 89...the only area that i would have considered "dangerous" at that time was Ruwanda and Burundi...let's just say those two neighbors were not seeing eye to eye at the time

but then again it was Africa...so you're automatically careful wherever you go

You mentioned that you went rafting in Africa in 89'. Which country was that in again?

Some info:

1. Not looking to go there and get drunk, I don't drink(trying to be in tip top shape). Looking for more of a place to go for sight seeing, shopping, tours and stuff like that.

2. I'm 21(Yes I know I seem more older, experienced and wise )

3. Budget is flexible. Obviously not something that's going to leave me broke, but I think I have saved enough to go somewhere worthwhile.

4. I can only speak English.

5. Only going to somewhere warm. Shouldn't be hard in the summer.

I don't think it's weird to go alone, I don't think my friends would be interested in going and not getting hammered. Plus, I hear it's the best time to travel when you're younger. If you guys could let me know that would be great.
Where did you travel to?

Just went to England man to visit some family. Traveled by myself though. Cost quite a bit to go there but my family over there paid for some expenses when I stayed there.

Cool. I just got back from a week long trip to London England as a solo traveler. There was lots to see/eat/drink but London is pretty expensive.

Kayaking the Belize atolls is what I want to do this winter if I can scrape up the cash.
