Default U2 360 Tour

Well with the tour over as of Saturday, I was curious if anyone happened to make it to any of the shows on the tour?

I happened to be at the show in Moncton that just ended the tour Saturday night, and personally I thought it was absolutely amazing. I was never big into U2 but knew have heard their popular songs a lot so knew those. Regardless I enjoyed the concert A LOT, had a real good time, and was glad that I went (was a free ticket)

They had people giving out bracelets to people that actually asked, to go down into the gated area infront of the stage (we were very very close to the stage) and couldn't of asked for better!

At one point of the show the moving catwalks (little bridges connecting the stage to the outside of the stage that went around the crowd) they stopped one directly above me and others, and Bono came out on it after a bit and began to sing directly above me over the railing of the catwalk, and proceeded to sweat on me, which I thought was cool (lol)! If I really wanted to, I could of jumped and grabbed his leg lol, it wasn't very high up.

All in all though, was a lot of fun, and will try to get some pictures from people (most of mine sucked) and will get them up if I remember to.

So I ask again, did anyone else happen to go to any of the shows?

I had friends from here that went to the show in Moncton. Not too sure I'd travel from Southern Ontario just to watch U2. In fact, I probably wouldn't drive an hour to Toronto to see them. Glad you enjoyed yourself though.

Some U2 is absolutely genius.

They had their moments where they made some really amazing music.

Their last 15 or so years though? .... not my cup of tea.

not a big fan of U2, I mean I had Vertigo on my Ipod back when it came out but that's about it lol...before my time.

But I read how the concert made around a quarter of a billion dollars, that's a shitload of money right there.

girlfriend and i are both big fans of U2...the last 2 or 3 albums (not so much)

we actually looked into getting tickets for this tour but the prices were absolutely silly imho...an easy pass on our part

Rattle and Hum and The Joshua Tree will always be my favourites...so many fantastic pieces to choose from but i'd have to go with One Tree Hill as my alltime fave release

War is the best. Hands down. Nothing comes close.

After that i like Achtung Baby and Zooropa. Discotheque was a good song, but that was the last good song they made.

I don't know what kind of prices you were looking at... they tickets were cheaper than most concerts I've been to within the last 2 years. I paid 84.50 for my U2 ticket, 95$ to see disturbed a few months ago, and 110 to see metallica like 2 weeks ago.

This is probably my favourite U2 song. It's from about 10 years ago. Maybe it's because it reminds me of a certain period of my life or maybe it's because it's slathered in Lanois, but it gets to me everytime I hear it.

Anybody wanting to see a cool show... Ontario Place is showing the U2 3-D show everynight at the cinesphere. IMAX 3-D beats the shit outta seeing um live.

we wanted to be in the 1st 20 rows (same as our last Peter Gabriel concert)...ya i know, pretty picky ...would have been $250 a piece...add tax, fees, parking etc etc and it would have rounded out to approx $600

That could easily be a beatles song

Like most here, I like their older stuff, last albums, I think they are pretty pretty bad.
