Default toronto vs montreal vs vancouver

Didn't know whether to put this in the podium or here.

Which would you say is a better city to live in for these age categories.

0-18:

18-30:

30-65:

65-beyond:

i'll start

0-18: vancouver because of the sheer outdoor advantages it has. It would be a kid's ultimate playground, a teen's ultimate sports thrill.

18-30: montreal: A European/modern city with a great nightlife, great population, great to be here when you're single.

30-65: vancouver/montreal: This is a tie because in vancouver's perspective nature is at your will to do family activities like camping, going to the beach, etc. In Montreal it is great because it's suburbs are a great place to raise a family, spread out, and your kids would be bilingual or trilingual, rather than unilingual or bilingual elsewhere.

65-beyond: I guess here it matters most where your family is but due to the climate advantage, vancouver. Imagine long walks along the beach, in a park, watching the sunshine set with your significant other, it'd be picturesque.. every day.

From November to mid April our climate is terribly depressing. If I had a chance I'd move down south especially if I was a senior.

There are a bunch of variables other than age that matter when picking a city. And lumping 30 year olds in the same category as 65 year olds....is...

Asking which city is best to live in is a trick question.

The city isn't what makes your life, how you live your life in a city is.

Moving to Vancouver isn't going to make a lazy, or over worked person into a tree climbing nature loving Extreme sportist, nor will the urban life of Toronto turn a Mountain climber into a club going party animal.

There are thousands of great things to do in each city, life is what you make it.

for me personal preference, I'm pretty sure I would be happier in Vancouver, but I like the Ontario North quite a bit too and how often do I make the effort to get there???

i just know if i spoke french i would love to live in montreal. that city has a cool vibe to it that i can't really explain.

i've never been to vancouver but i'd love to go at some point, it really looks amazing. the skyline with the mountains has been the background on my work laptop for a couple months now.

I'm french and I'm not a big fan of Montreal. Not that I've been there a great deal but the times I've been I thought it was ok but that's about it. I will say this though, best damn strip clubs I've ever been to were in Montreal. Not that I give a shit about strip clubs anymore. Lol

+1.

having experienced all three:

Best thing about Montreal is the vibe like you say.

Best thing about Vancouver is the nature and the setting.

I'll always be a Toronto guy though. I guess because i know the ins and the outs (well the ones that work for me personally) it is the place for me.
