Inspired (sort of) by the favourite villain/hero threads. The offseason is all about top five lists anway. What are your top five video games of all time?
I'll start: 1. Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 2. Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 3. Banjo & Kazooie 4. Fallout 3 5. Super Mario 64 I find that games as a whole are much better today than they were back in the day, but the N64/Playstation era pumped out the classics. Honourable Mention: Dragon Age Origins, Final Fantasy 7, Chrono Trigger, Mass Effect 2, Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, Metroid Prime 1 & 2 |

Hmmm... in no particular order...
1. Mario 3 (Original Nintendo) 2. Mario Kart (Nintendo 64) 3. Guitar Hero (shut up, I LIKED it) 4. Frogger (....seriously.) 5. Banjo Kazzoie (Nintendo 64) I miss original Nintendo. I had a lot of great games. Then I had N64. Briefly had a Playstation, but not for long. Now I have a Wii, but have only played Wii Fit. Guess I'm no good at this videogame stuff. |

i tell you why... KOTR 1, i went all-out evil.
Sith Lord to the max... i was so powerful and so bad that the game was too easy. if i wanted anything, i took it. i killed people without a second thought if they were in my way. but in KOTR 2, i decided to be good. Obi wan kinobi-good. i helped people, was pure jedi. the game was harder, but i had more fun with it, there was more of a challenge. and i liked thestory more, since i was being hunted. everyone says im crazy, i may be the only person who liked the sequel more than the original. |

I never have it in me to play as the bad guy in games where your actions determine your persuasion. I'll always tell myself I'm going to stick with the evil shtick, but I end up feeling bad sooner rather than later. Fallout 3, Jade Empire, Fable, Mass Effect 2, KOTOR 1&2, I can never do it. |

ever since my play throughs of both KOTR's and seeing the difference/fun i had being both good and evil, everytime i play an RPG-type game i now choose good. its true, if i do something evil, i feel bad... so i guess we're the same in that regard. the only exception i had was in Fallout 3. the way i saw that was that i was poor, the world was a wasteland, and if i was in that position for real - i'd do whatever it took to survive... and thats exactly how i played. i was a mercenary who played to survive, i played for myself. that being said, i stole as much as i could get my grubby hands on, i killed people who i could steal from, i didnt bother helping the unfortunate because i was unfortnate. it wasnt until the end that i did a good deed, and that made up for all of my evil... i really enjoyed that game. |

my buddy had one... we would skip school, smoke up, then play Power Stones.
life was good back then. speaking of Power Stones, anyone here play that game? IMO, it was the greatest multiplayer game in the history of video games. maybe it was the weed that made it so good, or my friend's mom's lasagna. i dont know. |

power stone was the first fighting game my parents ever let me buy, what a classic. i wasn't blazing back when i was 10 years old but i still loved the game. way ahead of its time.
IMO super smash bros. for the gamecube is the benchmark for all multi-player fighting games. power stone is definitely up there though. |

i remember we would have tourny's and there would be like 10 of us playing... bottom 2 from each game would be eliminated, so you would never want to lose or you would have to wait like 3 matches until you play again. |
