Rob was def a mastermind. And the answers he gave at tribal council seemed very rehearsed. He was liek a politician. If the other two had thought thier answers through, what am i saying, they couldnt have said anything to change the minds of the jury.

Some of them took it too personally. Grant.
If he was playing Monopoly and landed on boardwalk, would he react the same. I can understand if people never heard of this game before. But they have seen this show for years now.

This is what always drives me CRAZY about this show when the jury gets their time to speak.

This is NOT a pleasure cruise.

This is NOT Bible Camp.

THIS IS A GAME IN WHICH YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO OUTPLAY, OUTWIT AND OUTLAST YOUR OPPONENTS FOR A MILLION DOLLARS.

Grant... honestly.... can you not take a step back and see why no one would want to take you to the end?? Shit, he's lucky he lasted that long with how much of a physical threat he was.

Ashley... aka "Barbie-like bitch-who did NOTHING for the entire show". I would have honestly lost my damn mind if she would have won so I'm glad it didn't happen. I've never seen someone play the game with such an absolute LACK of game strategy before. For 39 days she basically looked like she was on vacation with Natalie and seemed totally content to be waited on hand & foot. And now you're butthurt because you didn't make it to the final 3??

Julie(?)... firefighter chick... ripping into people for a lack of morals when you had no problem throwing a challenge to oust Russell. And then as someone just mentioned... hiding Phillip's shorts. O you pillar of morality you!

David... THANK YOU for being the one person who actually had some perspective. I think that Rob might owe him 100K at least to be honest because his "closing argument" was more powerful than anything Rob had to say. lol.

I'm still dumbfounded that Natalie and Ashley didn't orchestrate a blindside to get Rob out of there after the merge. You know that they guy has an immunity idol and you wait until you CAN'T vote for him before you start considering it??? DUMB!!!!1111

Full credit to Rob for taking control of the game from Day #1. Masterful performance.

For the record.... I would love to see Russell again.

Hey, you certainly wouldn't have been alone. Girls have been fawning over him for 10 years.

Same here, would love to see him play again but unfortunately he already said he wouldn't participate anymore.

Ashley was actually the one that annoyed me the most. She was such a drama queen and wanted to vent out to the final three. No one should be mad at Rob. NO ONE. If they want to be angry with someone, it should be themselves for being stupid enough to keep him that long. Rob has already been in multiple Survivors and he's always done well in them, I don't see why they didn't try getting him out early in the game.

In the reunion show afterwards Jeff Probst asked him if they should still call him in the future.

Russell said "yep".

Maybe him vs. Parvarti in a guys vs. girls?

OOOH I missed that then! Thanks. My recording actually cut off when Jeff pointed out Rob's baby so I didn't know what happened afterwards. I'd definitely tune into the next one he joins.

let's just hope he doesn't make an early exit again just because of his reputation.

the thing is his reputation will always preceed him now as it did in the last survivor. that's why he's already behind the 8 ball. much moreso than rob was. And that's also why he was much more effective when people weren't as familiar with him.

It make sit so he has to try a little harder. Or change his approach.

I have to give my Congrats to Rob.

BUT.. This was his 4th time doing the show. If you havent won it by now, you need to step awaya dn consider yourself done. I mean it wasnt that big of an accomplishment. He knew what he had to do from the start, unlike the new ones. His speach at the finals actually sounded rehearsed.

WHAT?!

i have to completely disagree with every single thing you said.

EVERYONE knows HOW to win at survivor. It's not like the people playing for the first time haven't seen the show. It's been on for something like 10 years now. Winning this game is extremely difficult if you've played or not just because it's not up to the individual whether or not they win or even go home - it's up to everyone else.

Your opinion, if you dont think playing it and watching it are two different things, or that playing it 4 times doesnt give you an advantage.

The best performance by a Survivor i think was Russel's first time doing it.

i gotta disagree with you as well...
sure, playing it 4 times gives you an advantage, but its more of a disadvantage because everyone will be gunning for you.... case in point, Russell.
boston Rob beat those odds, and played the game perfectly.
Fancy said it best, everyone knows how to win, or what needs to be done to win the game, yet its nearly impossible to really achieve. kudos to Rob.

I would have been REALLY interested to know how this game would have gone if Russell and Rob had switched tribes....

Would the Zapateras have voted out Rob as quickly? Or would his charm have won them over?

Would Russell have been able to form another successful "dumb-ass girl alliance" (Ashley and Natalie)?

Guess we'll never know.
