Default Super Bowl XLII: Who you guys got?

Well, seeing how I've been a Giants fan since the mid 80's I can't help but to be excited for today. Only problem is who we're playing.

Praying for a miracle and hoping the same Giants team that have won upsets in each of their last 3 playoff games have one more in them tonight.

So with that being said I'll leave you with mine and the Giants inspirational song for tonight.

If the Broncos aren't playing I always pull for the underdog.

GO GIANTS!

As a Redskins fan, there is absolutely no way I can go for the Giants. Doc, I'm wondering if we should even talk anymore now that I know this ugly truth about you. So disappointed. Anyway, I guess I'll go for the Pats, but I don't really care.

I watched on and off most of the game. Last 5 minutes were good, the rest was like watching hockey on tv.

Now people are gonna be talking about this the next month, great.

Ahhhhh ..... sooooooo sweet ..... sooooo sweet.

What a finish and hands down one of the best finishes to a Super Bowl ever. Eli Manning has officially made a name for himself as a franchise quarterback. That god for David Tyree's circus catch, but the Giants defensive line made Brady and the Pats O-Line their bitches all night long. They couldn't stop Tuck, Strahan, Umenyiora and even the rook Alford at the end of the game. As a Giants fan for over 20 years winning in '87 and '91 was awesome, but considering who we were up against this season in the final means so much more.

I told you!

The Giants match up well with the Pats. The Pats can't take that smashmouth football. Look at what happened when they played teams like Philly and Baltimore - they become pussies. Good on the Giants. I only saw the final quarter of the game, but that was all I needed to see. It was great.

Good on ya Doc! Great game. I didn't really care who won other than being happy for you, and being glad that my Dolphins remain the best. I loved them growing up because they had a guy named Alex, and a QB that wore glasses, and I was a little kid with glasses.

Thanks LX.

BTW, did you catch the TSN interview with Sam Madison after the game when he was cheering the '72 Dolphins? "Pop that champagne '72 Dolphins, pop that champagne". They even interview Mercury Morris via phone last night and he too was relieved to know that their record of being the only perfect team was still intacted.

BTW, what did you guys think of Tom Petty last night? Not the big name superstar that I'm sure all the teenie-boppers wanted to see at halftime, but definitely one of the more entertaining halftime shows that I watched during a Super Bowl for quite some time.

"I'm Free ..... Freeeee Faaaaallin'".

Yeah I saw that. I liked Tom Petty as well. Prince was pretty good too, but outside of those two, and maybe U2, every halftime show has been incredibly cheesy and poorly lip-synched. It's nice that they can use technology for some good these days.

I'm just glad Tom didn't have any wardrobe malfuntions, intentional or otherwise last night.
