Default Steven Tyler leaves Aerosmith, band looking for new singer.

Say it ain't so.

Quote:
Aerosmith's lead guitarist Joe Perry says the legendary rock band isn't breaking up — although they need a new singer.

Perry said on the micro-blogging site Twitter late Monday Aerosmith is "not splitting up" but "looking for a new singer to work with" amid speculation about the band's future and the role of front man Steven Tyler.

Tyler has been quoted as saying he is considering a solo career.

Perry said Monday on WKXL, a radio station in Concord, New Hampshire, that Tyler hasn't communicated his intentions with anyone in the band and that he found out about Tyler's solo wishes after going online.

Tyler could not immediately be reached for comment.

The 61-year-old Tyler was injured when he fell off a stage during an Aug. 5 performance in South Dakota, and the band canceled the remainder of its summer tour.

"After the tour got canceled, he just kept drifting off and doing other things. We would hear things from different people. He wasn't talking directly to anybody in the band," Perry told WKXL, referring to Tyler. "So basically, he just made the announcement that he was taking some time off."

It ain't so

Quote:
"There's absolutely no validity to rumor that Aerosmith is breaking up, mutha f**ka!" Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler told TMZ.com on Tuesday night. Both Tyler and guitarist Joe Perry, who was carrying what looked like a beer into a Trump hotel in New York, denied that the decades-old rock band was breaking up, a rumor spread via Twitter remarks from Perry that caused speculation that the lead singer was leaving the band. "I just want New York—New York, I just want you to know I am not leaving Aerosmith," Tyler reiterated to the crowd of the band’s show at Irving Plaza in NYC on Tuesday night, according to ABC News.
And I don't mind that one song with all the strings - you know - that really nice rock ballad thingy.

Aerosmith lost me when they came out with that Cheesy get a grip album.

Before that they weren't bad.

you wouldn't fit the image though.

They like their lead singers to have more of an 'old woman' look

Gimme a few years.

I think I'll be really good at the old woman look.

Til then, I can just scream, hump microphones, and throw scarves everywhere.

Yeah, it was just released. Sounds like every other record he's done in the past 12 years.

After 20 years plus of listening to the music I kinda got sick of it truthfully. However; I still love my Page Doll and appreciate the music somewhat
