smartphone's are advancing so fast though...my friend downloads movies off Bittorent on his S3 and watches them in 1080p while he sits on the bus. Their slowly starting to make the use of computers obsolete.

I am disappointed with the iPhone 5. Gone are the days that Apple provided innovation. I think Samsung is going to dominate the next few years in the smartphone industry. It's funny that Apple is accusing Samsung of copying their design. Samsung has created a superior product in the S3, several months before the release of Apple's smartphone.

Err, the new iPhone 5 looks the same as #iPhone4/s. How will people know I am better than them?

Why not, they already destroyed grammar as we know it.

Actually SJ, keyboards that use auto-correct or word-predicting tech are fixing that problem slowly. The only reason people talk in short form is to save time, and most keyboards out there fix that (this is only on Android though, since iOS users can't change the native keyboard).

If you guys have issues with autocorrect or typing in general, get the Swiftkey 3 app. So much better than all the others. I hated Swype.

Yeah SwiftKey is amazing, it's what I use too. It actually remembers how you type, and what sequences of words you usually type, to make the experience less error prone.

Well, the issue is that these function promote the apathetic ignoring of any or all spelling mistakes. You basically unlearn how to type, spell, and use grammar and its not a good thing at all. On top of that, autocorrect doesnt always know what you wanna say, so it corrects the word to the wrong word.... not good.

Disagree, in my case. You know how I feel about grammar and spelling.

But you can choose to not have it auto correct. You just type, and it gives suggestions that are usually right. It's easy.

If anyone is tempted to get the iPhone 5 at launch, I would say wait a bit as there's going to be a slew of good phones coming up. In a week, a Intel powered Motorola (which is owned by Google) phone should be announced, running Android. And it'll likely be bezel-less. Also, the Nokia Lumia 920 is launching sometime in November, running Windows 8. And of course, the yearly Nexus device should be announced in a 2-3 months.
