^ My first cell was Nokia 3210 and at the time I thought it was small. Than I got Nokia 3310 that was even smaller and better! those were the cellphones, with battery's that last 4-5 days, and pretty much unbreakable.

My Motorola Rzr to this day is probably the best "phone" i've ever had as far as battery and clarity, and that phone never dropped calls.

I am still rocking the Samsung Wave 2, going to definitely upgrade in the summer. When is the S5 supposed to come out?

Even the most hardened Samsung haters have to admit that the company does one thing incredibly well:*Make gorgeous, eye-catching displays. The display experts at*DisplayMate*have come out with a comprehensive new report on the soon-to-be-released*Galaxy S5 and they explain in great detail why Samsung’s latest flagship device*has the single best smartphone display they’ve ever tested.

So what has*Samsung*done to get the highest marks that*DisplayMate*has ever handed out to a smartphone? For one thing, it’s placed less emphasis on boosting the top-line specs such as pixel density on the Galaxy S5, mostly because today’s smartphone displays already have resolutions so high that merely adding more pixels won’t make that much of a difference to the human eye.

So instead,*DisplayMate*says that Samsung has concentrated on improving the Galaxy S5 display’s brightness,*color accuracyand its performance in high ambient lighting. As far as brightness goes,*DisplayMate*has found that the Galaxy S5′s display is 22% brighter than the Galaxy S4 and 13% brighter than the Galaxy Note 3, two devices whose displays weren’t exactly dull to look at in the first place.

When it comes to color accuracy,*DisplayMate*says that the Galaxy S5 has “the most color accurate display we have ever measured for a smartphone or tablet,” which is particularly impressive because Samsung uses OLED displays that for a long time trailed behind LCD displays in terms of showing accurate colors.

And finally,*DisplayMatesays that the Galaxy S5′s added brightness options give it the ability to perform better in outdoor lighting than any device it has yet tested.“[The Galaxy S5]*has a long list of new records for best smartphone display performance including: Highest Brightness, Lowest Reflectance, Highest Color Accuracy, Infinite Contrast Ratio, Highest Contrast Rating in Ambient Light, and smallest Brightness Variation with Viewing Angle,”DisplayMate*concludes. “The Galaxy S5 has raised the bar for top display performance up by another notch — an impressive achievement for OLED technology!”

Both are great phones. I suggest going in and take a look at both in person and handle both phones and make your decision from there. Also, take a look at reviews for both and maybe decide based on your needs.

Yea I saw his reviews of both the S5 and the M8. The guy is hilarious and really good, and yea I saw that but I already have a tablet so it won't make sense for me to get a phone with a huge screen.

Look into the oneplus one releasing in a couple weeks too. $350 USD for the 64GB model, contract free.

After the plethora of leaked images and specs, the OnePlus One has officially been unveiled. This runs a ‘special version’ of CyanogenMod OS, based on Android 4.4.2 KitKat, and is targeting Nexus enthusiasts with its specs and low price point.

‘Never Settle’ is the tag line and the LTE-enabled OnePlus One specs are impressive with a 5.5-inch 1080p display (Gorilla Glass 3), 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801 processor, 3GB of RAM, 13MP Sony Exmor sensor (f/2.0, flash, and 4K video), 5MP front-facing camera, JBL-designed stereo speakers and 3100mAh non-removable battery. Overall dimensions are 152.9 x 75.9 x 8.9 mm with a weight of 162 grams. The ‘StyleSwap’ exchangeable back covers will eventually be available and come in several options (wood, kevlar, bamboo and denim), which is similar to MotoMaker for the MotoX.

So sick of my Iphone.

I'm holding out for the Note 4 later this year.

It will be interesting to see what Apple does with the 6 though. They can't afford a fail.

Damn really? I went in to get a deal today, I got a rogers deal from a private dealer, it was 50 bucks for 1 GB data, unlimited canada wide and us calling, unlimited picture and photo messaging, but cause of some random thing I can't get a phone for a month instead they gave me a loaner. So I have a month to ponder over what phone to get, hopefuly the OnePlus One comes out within the month. Looks like a good phone
