HTC makes solid phones - I got one for my wife and I think the build and camera are better than my SG3. If you can look past the lack of an SD card, especially if you're big on cloud use.

Honestly, I think I'd go with the Razor before that HTC. When I was looking at phones I kept hearing that the Razor and Galaxy phones were the best on the market.

I was planning on getting the Nexus 4 but then S4 will be out at the end of April so might as well buy this phone instead. As a guy who currently has a Sony Xperia Arc phone and want to switch for a latest phone, S4 should be on top of the list and N4 is next. But for someone who has an SIII or Note II, I guess it's not worth the upgrade IMO. Those phones are included on any future updates anyways. Even the SII can be updated to the latest Jelly Bean.

yes and no, to different extents. the s3 will get the latest jelly bean right now, but not immediately. they might get it in 6-8 months after, which is actually the norm with the samsung phones opposed to the google phones. google phones get it first, end of story, and continue to do so for 2-3 years, at which time you'd get a new phone anyway. samsung phones stop getting update a year- a year and a half in, and get more and more behind in terms of updates. as in the s3 might get 4.1 when the nexus get the 5.0 that is rumoured to come out soon. (nexus are already on the 4.2)

really at the end of the day, it's to your liking. better hardware? or better software? I enjoy the latter, because better hardware really is useless with an outdated OS.

unless of course you root it, in which case that opens up a whole other can of worms

Anyone have any recommendations on the best video chat to use for Galaxy S3?

Looks like Tango might be decent?

I have a Note and it is not too big for me. It fits easily in all of my pockets and, as I use it more for email, sms, and internet, the size is an advantage, not a disadvantage.

Only negatives about Samsung and their flagship phones is the build quality and rear facing speaker. IMO.
