I actually prefer plastic over stuff like glass backs (see iphone 4s and nexus 4). I'd take aluminum unibody over plastic though, but the aluminum tends to make the phones a lot heavier, so it's a tradeoff.

I like going commando with my phone, no case or anything, so plastic is better in that sense. No worries of shattering glass/scratching the aluminum back.

Christ, set up my work email on my phone today and i was later texting with my girlfriend. I checked my work email account later and saw our whole conversation in the inbox.

Anyway, i didn't realize my email account was synced with my SMS.

I was hoping this wasn't the design when I saw Windex post the pictures on the previous page. It's going to be weird using a physical home button, I'm used to on screen. Also will have to get used to the 'back' button being on the right side, rather than the left.

Samsung S3 also has a physical home button. I prefer it tbh.

My last phone was a blackberry torch, since i got my Galaxy a couple weeks ago my biggest adjustment has been the on screen keyboard. That'll take me a while to get used to.

Yeah I might end up liking the physical button, who knows.

A deal breaker for me will be the battery life, if I'm not able to get at least 14 hours out of it (including around 4-5 screen time), I might just hold off and see what's on the horizon. My Galaxy Nexus barely lasts a day.

My S3 lasts me the day and i'm guessing the S4 will be at least a little better. It all depends how you use it. If you have live wallpapers and turn everything on and are always on it the battery wil die quicker like any phone.

Yeah I don't use any battery drainers like live wallpapers, GPS always on, etc. but I'm still only left with about 20% battery after work, with about 3 hours screen time. Lately I've been using a completely black wall paper, which people say improves battery life because Samsung's AMOLED screens treat complete blacks as "off" pixels, do they don't consume energy. It's helping a little.

I've been using an app called Deep Sleep Battery Saver - since using it I've noticed a change in battery life and it seems to work really well for me. You can customize it so it turns off various activities while it "sleeps".

Yeah, funny presentation, kind of corny at times. But it displayed the features of the phone well.
