Yeah - i should have said fave wrestler with no real moves. He was like a life size action figure in the ring.

My favorite would have to be Jushin Thunder Liger.

Absolutely. He was the original 'most electrifying man in sports entertainment' before The Rock.

This was one of the first matches I ever watched:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XzzmvDuswHc

It perfectly sums up the Warrior, as most of his matches were under 5 minutes long, but between his awesome entrance, and essentially being unbeatable, his appearances in the ring were maybe the most entertaining minutes of watching Wrestling that existed for me in the 90's. Until Stone Cold became big anyway. Stone Cold's entrance and how he could get the crowd so fired up was unmatched, but that conversation is for another thread.

It's funny you mention the short duration of the matches. When he beat Hogan at Wrestlemania, the match lasted around 30 minutes. And they had moments where both guys were laid out for what seemed like five minutes at a time. Power naps? It was very funny.

I have that wrestlemania on VHS and they did a "test of strength" for at last 10 mins lol.

They had the story on the National last night and said the cause was unknown. He just collapsed. He had been in the ring the night before for RAW, accepting his HOF induction, and talked about how our hearts can stop beating at any moment.

No WWE talent becomes a legend on their own. Every man's heart one day beats its final beat. His lungs breathe their final breath. And if what that man did in his life makes the blood pulse through the body of others and makes them believe deeper in something larger than life then his essence, his spirit, will be immortalized. By the story tellers, by the loyalty, by the memory of those who honor him and make the running the man did live forever. You, you, you, you, you, you are the legend makers of Ultimate Warrior. In the back I see many potential legends. Some of them with warrior spirits. And you will do the same for them. You will decide if they lived with the passion and intensity. So much so that you will tell your stories and you will make them legends, as well. I am Ultimate Warrior. You are the Ultimate Warrior fans. And the spirit of the Ultimate Warrior will run forever!
