One place that you would never think that would make good pizzas (I'm not sure if they have it anywhere else), but the Metro (formerly Dominion) at Kingston Rd/Eglinton makes pizzas fresh to order. They take the cheeses and meats right from the deli counter, the veggies straight from the produce and make it there in front of your eyes. Best pizza I've ever had hands down.

i've always wanted to try the Dominion (now Metro's) pizza.
i always see people buying them from there and thought to myself 'why do so many people buy their pizza from there? it must be really good".
but never tried it.
i think i'll buy one next time i'm grocery shopping.
theres a 24 hour metro's 5 minutes from my house... i love that place.
i always get my groceryies at like 11pm when its empty.
its funny, its always men shopping at that time.

I bought a whole bunch of fuyu persimmons at the market today,

Not a big fan of them raw.

Pizza Depot is the way to go after a night of partying. Huge slab of pizza for three and change. Pizza is pizza is pizza when you're hammered, and the more the better.

Attempting to give this thread some life.

I'll give you a "first date" or quick dinner type place. Without booze you could have a meal for two for 20-25 bucks easy. Affordable place great food.

The chef is an elderly Italian Lady simply known to the regulars as "Mamma Rosa". Food is great and the Osso Buco and Sexy Duck are a much to try. The kitchen at the front of restaurant is also one pretty cool concept.

7 Numbers on Eglinton and Bathurst Area. Their is also a location on the Danforth but I'm an North Toronto kinda guy

SEVEN NUMBERS RESTAURANTS 2047409 DANFORTH AND 2113407 EGLINTON LOCATIONS

easy place to miss so bring the directions with you

So i'm enjoying leftovers from yesterday's Soup Nutsy order. I got the large Jamaican Crab Bisque.

It's da bomb.

Anyone else a fan of the Soup nutsy?

I love the Soup Nutsy too, fancy. I don't go very often because I can't justify spending $10 on one serving of soup. The Crab Bisque is disgustingly good. You gotta sit down when you eat it because it makes you weak in the knees.

i can't remember. probably... I know we've talked about it in the past.

As for the price i have it once every two months or so (usually when i take a day off work), but i always get a large because it's big enough to get two servings out of it.

I really wanted the sherried Lobster bisque but they weren't serving it that day. Both bisques are good, but i give the nod the lobster.

I've had it once, but other times that i've gone there they weren't serving it, so it's probably one of the specials. Last time i went, the lady let me try samples before i ordered.
