This is a bit of a lengthy read, but a great in depth look at how the food industry maximizes profits by making our food unhealthy and addictive, using science and engineering to do so. They knew the obesity epidemic was going to explode ahead of time, and they chose to exploit it rather than prevent it. And now they are trying to repeat the process across the globe.

Was in Hong Kong with my gf last week and ate at an amazing sushi restaurant called "Sushi Sase". The bill came to around $3800 hong kong dollars or something like that. I paid for it without even thinking about the conversion rate.

It wasn't until last night that I found out it was $470 CAD....

This is a good recipe. Way better than that store bought shit.

Although I'd recommend using a little less salt.
