After.Life: Quite well done suspense...very dark, a little ambiguous. If you like Christina Ricci you will LOVE this move Definitely NOT a date movie but worth seeing if you're into the genre of paranormal/suspense/dark introspective type movies. 8/10

Watched the 1998 version of Godzilla last night. Still trying to figure out why. In my defense, I haven't been sleeping well lately and we're potty training the child, so I plead temporary insanity.

On cineplex.com 127 Hours comes out next week. On rottentomatoes to comes out on the 5th (today) in the US so I guess we get a one week delay for some reason. Can't wait to see it though.

How to train a dragon
8/10

Pleasantly surprised. I'm not one to get motivated to watch aniamated movies and when my GF brought this over i was skeptical, but i really liked it. Great looking film and cool story. I recommend it.

Daybreakers
7/10

I really liked the concept of this movie, very different then most vampire movies, but something was lacking in certain parts. I can't put my finger on it but it left me a little disapointed. Still passable and i give it a reluctant recommendation.

Scott Pilgrim vs. the World

Visually it was crazy, so much going on. Edgar Wright (Hot Fuzz, Shaun of the Dead) obviously knows how to make movies. A great bunch of characters and a bunch of local actors too...good to see Toronto locations aswell. A few random scenes in the movie though which made the movie a little less enjoyable imo

8.5/10

Night of the Hunter has been released on DVD thanks to Criterion. Great film. Robert Mitchum is pure genius. I have to wonder how much Nic Cage took from this performance. The film also makes me feel like Lynch was inspired.

I love the lighting and the expressionist effects mixed with the Americana. Brilliant.

Watched The Wrestler for the first time last night. It's excellent and Marisa Tomei is NAKED in it, which makes it super-duper-excellent!

Larry Potter 7 - Inc. or 5/10

all they did is run away from moderately dangerous people 4 times and set up camp 4 times
they also found an item

they could have easily cut 30 mins, but its a cash grab for 2 movies
