the trailer was part of the previews before inception.

the first one scared the shit out of me, couldn't sleep well for a month afterwards. i found that everyone i talked to either found it super scary or not scary at all.

Is the trailer scary? Are there any other scary trailers before Inception?

Yeah, I'm a wimp. Even when it comes to trailers.

hehehe, yeah the trailer is pretty freaky.
theres a part where they have the baby standing in his crib at night looking at the doorway, then it cuts away, and then an image of a ghost woman is in the doorway staring at the baby.
it was freaky, and someone in the theatre even screamed. which made it funny, so it took away from the scariness for me.

supposedly, they originally had the trailer before Twilight 3, and they were forced to remove it afterwards because kids were getting too scared and parents complained.

i've heard that The Ring is the scariest movie since Excorcist...
anyone seen it that can attest?
i refuse to watch it... my friend said it scared the crap out of him, and he loves scary movies, he wont watch the Ring 2.

Oh man. I didn't watch the scariest version of Paranormal Activity, and it freaked me right out. I practically slept on SJ's side of the bed for a week; I kept thinking my sheets were gonna blow open like they did in the movie.

Single Cuda can NOT watch scary movies. Ever.

Max is supposed to be a mastermind and underworld warlord kind of figure...Patric's (and i must include the director here) interpretation comes across as "cartoony" and cliche

would have preferred to see another version of Keyser Soze instead

and again...just my opinion
yeah, just thinking keyser soze together with the losers is telling me that you had the wrong expectations walking into the movie. the best dialog in the movie was between max and wade, he was more quirky and intelligent than badass.

I watched the Ring with my cousins when I was 9 and it scared the shit out of me...had problems sleeping for a long time...but when I watched it again in gr7 at school in the auditorium, it didn't seem too bad. Considering your a grown man, you should probably watch it now lol

Like Mr. Mxyptlk said, the Exorcist is on another level.

See I found Blair Witch scary because I love hiking and the idea of being trapped in the woods with no where to go freaks the hell out of me this day. Insert a small element of the supernatural and it's a movie that still screws with me this day. If I go for a long hike I always make sure I'm on trail and never off trail.

As for PA, I have a strong strong interest in the supernatural and this movie had done its research and while it didn't freak me out it freaked out a lot of friends I have who also 'believe'. So, it didn't become boring but something you can encounter and feel completely helpless against.

The Ring is scary but meh. The Exorcist still does it for me. The soundtrack just gets me.

i spent 3 months camping in Africa (in very remote areas) so stuff like that doesn't bother me

i also have a strong interest..in fact i could tell you a few stories that you would probably find hard to believe..but PA did very little for me

love the full album...Tubular Bells (Mike Oldfield)...a true classic

The original Exorcist 1973 was the scariest. For some reason older movies like that are more scarier then the modern ones.
