Harry Brown

Set in a ghetto part of Britain, a man has seen enough and steps up for justice in a place of chaos. That man is Michael Caine, and you can't go wrong with Michael Caine lol

8/10

Anyone catch Lock, Stock on TV last night? I've lost track of how many times I've seen that movie. I enjoy it more than Snatch and people think I'm crazy.

Yee it's a sick movie, not sure if i'd pick it over Snatch just cause of all of the extra crazy characters in Snatch and the boxing scenes are sick, but the end of Lock, Stock is one of the best I've ever seen, I found it really suspenseful

Watch Rec and Rec 2.

Excellent.

Caught Zombieland.

10/10

Nothing fancy, simple story, good punchlines. Up there with Shaun of the Dead in terms of horror comedies. Really, really enjoyable.

Watched Edge of Darkness on Friday:

Not bad, expected something like Taken but it was alright different and better in different ways.

7.5/10

And Layer Cake yesterday

Directed by the same guy who's directing Kick Ass, quality movie, great directing, great characters, great story.

9/10

Brooklyn's finest:

This movie was all over the place, not enough Don Cheetle and too much Ethan Hawk and Richard Geer imo. The ending was ok, but overall disapointing considering the possibilities they had and a decent cast.

7.5/10

----

Brothers

Good performance by Tobey McGuire, Jake Gyllenhall, Natalie Portman but the story itself didn't go far enough and again could have been much better.

7/10

Layer Cake is an awesome movie, one of my favourites. Daniel Craig kicks some serious ass in that one.
