I just watched "big Fish"

Made me emotional like after forest Gump.

Not like I cried though, cause I'm a man and I just went out after the movie and cut down a nearby tree and started up the BBQ

Shutter Island 4/10

Terrible, terrible story. Ruffalo is always a joy to watch as is Kingsley.

Edge of Darkness (Mil Gibson)

It was alright, but at time was just nonsense... 6.5/10

Shutter Island..Well kind of a dissapointment, but Lot of thinking involved, especially after the movie was done to try and make sense of it all...5/10

Watched Coach Carter for the first time on CBC last night. I enjoyed it, even though it ended at 2 in the morning...

Heard this song in it for the first time. Great pump up song for basketball.

Shutter Island 4.5/10

The concept was cool and I thought it had potential, but it was horribly executed. The plot developments got so bizarre and outlandish that the movie became laughable halfway through. Oh, and I DEFINITELY didn't see the twist coming......

Honestly its the same thing as lethal weapon, braveheart and all his other movies(most), like honestly Mel Gibson is so one dimensional:

- Mel's character is always a violent person
- He always seems to lose his loved ones (wife, daughters, e.g)
- he gets out of that depression by killing

But yea I saw "Temple Grandin" on HBO and it was good, great biography.

just came back from watching "The Crazies"...
not bad... your run of the mill zombie/virus/run for your lives type movie.
i like these kinda movies because they are usually non stop excitement and always keep your date close, and on your arm.
not very scary though, but fun nonetheless.

7/10
gets the extra point because i like the main actor timothy olyphant.

Watched Step-Father today at my friends birthday party. Pretty good, actually. Not sure whether to classify it as a horror or thriller, since the serial killer basically only killed his victims by sufficating them. Really far fetched though, how nobody ever thinks to go down into the basement to see what hes doing...

Oh, and I watched Brother Bear tonight with my sis. Always a good one.
