i went to see the stage play of glengarry glenross at the soulpepper theatre tonight. great film, but better stage play. eric peterson was fantastic. 9/10.

Soulpepper is great. I wish I could see more of their stuff. I heard the director talking about GG on the CBC a couple of weeks ago. It sounds nice. And pretty much anything Mamet writes that ends up on film, just ends up being a play that has been filmed. So the stage makes it less removed from where it belongs I would say.

this is especially the case with soulpepper because it's so small. the audience is right on top of the actors, so you really get that close feeling, which is perfect for a claustrophobic piece like gg.

Watched Big Daddy yesterday

Pretty funny movie, Adam Sandlers has some funny moments in this movie and it has many great supporting actors also (Jon Stewart, Rob Schnieder, Steve Buscemi, etc.)

Drag me to Hell is vintage Raimi. If you don't like E.D. then you won't like it.

It gets a 8.5 outta 10 for me.

I'm suprised at the indifference to Taken.

I really really like it.

The guy did stuff that more action heroes should do. He wasn't scared of doing anything to anyone, he just wanted his daughter back.
