Saw DOOMSDAY last night with the GF. We like apocalyptic/zombie movies.

It was Max Max /Thunderdome/Escape from New York all rolled into one less than great package.

Dont even wait for the video...just dont bother.

Eastern Promises - 9/10

Fantastic flick .... I'm not usually a fan of Cronenberg's work, but Viggo was amazing in this movie. I give him a ton of credit for the gruesome bath house fight. Not only was there a ton of blood, but the dude fought with his "gigglestick & funberries" bouncin' around. Now that's talent.

Ha ha! Hubby took me to that for my birthday last year. Love that movie! The Viggo-Cronenberg team is the new Depp-Burton team ... or the new Hanks-Speilberg team.

Juno - 9/10

Didn't think I'd like this movie, but it was fantastic and actually quite witty. I can see why Ellen Page was nominated for an Oscar now. Highly recommend it if you've never watched it before.

Be Kind Rewind - 7/10

A great plot and idea but not well executed. Great acting by mos def and jack black is not bad. Funny and a beautiful story, it could have been much better though.

Iron Man.... 8.5/10
excellent comic book-marvel movie...
probably the best of all the marvel movies to date.
Robert Downey is a perfect casting for Tony Stark.

Iron Man delivered all that it promised. Will I ever think of a quote or an idea after the night I saw the film? Not a chance.

Great popcorn movie. Wont change your life in any way.

i liked the train scene at the beginning. i think that's all that i can really offer.

lone star 7.5/10

pretty good flick about a murder that happened in a small texan town many years ago, a son trying to figure out of his father was as good as everyone had said, and different races trying to live together.
