Saw it recently and almost fell asleep a couple of times during the movie, I honestly thought it would be a lot better from what I saw in the previews.

inspiring, sad and disgusting. not a big fan of julianne moore, but she did a great job. i would have liked to have seen her character a little bit more before the epidemic began, though. i think you would get a greater appreciation of her development. the ending kinda carried on, but i liked a few things is concentrated on. i liked it. probably wouldn't watch it twice, but i'd recommend it.

The Wrestler. I love Marisa Tomei, so I LOVED her in this...and my wife has a thing for Mickey Rourke, so we both went home happy.

I'm betting that you're referring to the scene where the women are forced to "perform" for food. I was squirming in my seat when that was going on. Sick to think that people could degenerate like that.

I saw Wendy and Lucy. About a woman and her dog she can't afford to keep, and loses as she heads to Alaska. Nice character study. No thrills, chills or spills. Fun ending.

Man On Wire is great. Incredible stunt. Unbelievable people involved. And it must have felt just crazy being involved.

i saw wendy and lucy on the weekend as well. it was a good character study, but i have no idea how it got so much attention and respect (5 n's in now magazine, for instance). it honestly could have been 20 minutes long and just as good. the slow pans and exaggerated still shots just went nowhere for me. i get that it illustrated the mood, but it was way overdone, especially the endless pan shot in the kennel.

also, i;m a huge softy for dogs, so that whole thing just killed me. no way i make that decision. no way....

Yeah - you're right about the kennel, and too much praise in general. I was glad it wasn't stretched out more, and that it came in at just over an hour and a quarter. Critics loved the fact that the whole story ended up having that ironic ending I think.

I'm a softy for dogs and have had to make similar decisions too many times. Being a breeder that doesn't want to keep dogs in a kennel means finding a good home for them at some point to make room for the next one. Usually it's a friend or family member. It always hurts a ton. But it's always the right thing for me in terms of the dog getting the attention it needs. And our dogs live to watch after people, thriving when they are the only ones doing so. It's a different situation, but I completely get where she was coming from.

Anyone watch 'Watchmen' yet? I'm reading conflicting reviews, some give it a 10/10, some a 3/10

for u Megan Fox fans

Fox is in final negotiations to join Josh Brolin and John Malkovich in "Jonah Hex," Warner Bros.' action Western based on the DC Comics character. She also is attached to star in and develop "Fathom," Fox Atomic's comic book-based underwater adventure.

In "Hex," Fox will play Leila, a gun-wielding beauty and love interest of Hex (Brolin), a scarred bounty hunter tracking a voodoo practitioner (Malkovich) who wants to raise an army of undead to liberate the South. The movie is preparing for a shoot in April, with Jimmy Hayward directing.

"Fathom," a comic created by recently deceased artist Michael Turner, follows a young woman named Aspen who learns she is a member of a race of aquatic humanoids who possess the ability to control water. Fox, a fan of the comic since its 1998 debut, will receive a producer credit, as will her former fiance Brian Austin Green.

i couldn't stand religulous. nothing worse than a fence sitter criticizing everyone for their beliefs. if the documentary was based on the last five minutes, it could have been interesting. instead he went around making a fools out of people and using them as the demographic for that religion.
