Saw Gangster Squad last weekend. Very bleh from me. I was hoping for something a little more serious. It literally felt like a joke to me the whole time.

Seven Psycopaths I loved.

This is 40 was weird. I typically dislike all those movies by that crew. I found myself laughing throughout. Weird.

Star Wars fans rejoice !...Disney got the right guy

J.J. Abrams to Direct Star Wars: Episode VII!

Quote:
Star Trek Into Darkness helmer J.J. Abrams will direct Star Wars: Episode VII for Walt Disney Pictures and Lucasfilm, reports TheWrap. The site says that Ben Affleck was also in contention.

Back in November, Abrams commented on the possibility of him directing and it sounded like it wasn't happening:

"Look, Star Wars is one of my favorite movies of all time. I frankly feel that Ė I almost feel that, in a weird way, the opportunity for whomever it is to direct that movie, it comes with the burden of being that kind of iconic movie and series. I was never a big Star Trek fan growing up, so for me, working on Star Trek didnít have any of that, you know, almost fatal sacrilege, and so, I am looking forward more then anyone to the next iterations of Star Wars, but I believe I will be going as a paying moviegoer!"

TheWrap adds that Lucasfilm's Kathleen Kennedy has been courting Abrams for the director's chair for a while.

Star Wars: Episode VII is scheduled to hit theaters in 2015. Michael Arndt is writing the script. Disney and Lucasfilm are planning a new trilogy with a new movie coming every other year.

Saw Argo the other night. I likes me a true story spy flick. Ben was pretty good. And the film flowed nicely.

The only thing I was thinking through the whole thing was "Cot dang Americans taking all the credit again". The Canadian embassy housed the fugitives for months. The original cut had the Canadians as only house keepers and gave them very little credit. When Ben showed it in Toronto, there was an outcry. I read at IMDB that he added a "Canadians help alot" blurb at the end. Frackin Yanks.

Argo..... nothing like an anti-"middle east flavour of the month" movie cleverly placed a election time.

And the story was edited, and they fucked canada in the movie. I wont watch it ever.

I actually found it pretty funny for the first hour or so, but it really dragged and dragged. It wasn't a good movie by any means, but it made me laugh.

Yea I have, never really got into torrents for the sole purpose of how the more people currently hosting the file, the faster it goes. I like uploading website downloads because I consistently get 1.5+ mb/sec

Obviously there are some great torrents out there, I just don't know about them lol

Dredd

expectations were low going into this one but we ended up being pleasantly surprised...simple storyline that basically sets up a good guys/bad guys scenario...lots of blood and guts
wish we had seen this in 3D...i imagine the special effects/slow mo scenes would have been incredible

and Urban never removed his helmet

7/10

The Royal ~ KRIVINA

I don't normally promote things on the web, even if they're personally connected to me. This film however was fantastic. the cinemetography and directing was phenomenal. I can't comment on the acting as the lead actor is a personal friend of mine. this is a low budget film that's been incredibly well made and I highly reccomend you guys watch it. it plays at the royal all this week until friday or sunday. it plays around with the hardships of immigration and the story of so many yugoslavian people here in Canada (especially toronto) today.

do it

For anyone who hasn't watched it yet...go watch BRONSON.

Tom Hardy's best role IMO.
