Really? The ending was awful. The rest of it was good, til it got over-cheesy.

Love me some Depp, though.

Headhunters

Headhunters (2011) - IMDb

Randomly found it under thrillers on Netflix. Clean direction, pretty suspenseful. Not bad at all.

7/10

The sex scene with the witch was pretty funny.

That's what you get. Drew Barrymore hasn't made a good movie since E.T.

Moonrise Kingdom. C.

I find all of Wes Anderson's movies to be a bit annoying. Too pretentious or something. As a nerdish oddball I appreciate where he's coming from though.

Just watched Midnight in Paris.

Didn't think too much of it from the start but as it went on it was a pretty interesting movie.

7.8/10

I finally watched the new Spiderman. (A friend downloaded it)

I worry about you Comic Book movie peeps. This was AWFUL. It added nothing to the existing movies. It was a pure copy. Even the opening credit was a steal!

I like my Peter Parker all humble. Not some wisecracking smart mouth. Very unlikeable! And how different was Ratman from that Sandman? Wow.

All through the movie, wifey and me were picking off scenes from other movies like they were some kind of tribute or inside joke.

I havnt seen the Dark Knight. I hope it surprises me. I was very disappointed with this movie. And Emma Stone is 17!?!?! RIIIIGHT.

you should probably just avoid comic book movies from now on, dude. you've made it pretty clear that you just don't have any intention of enjoying them.

Very true. I do like to keep my finger on the pulse of pop culture, so I download them when available (ie no money goes to the makers).

The last comic book movie I enjoyed was Superman Returns. Because it was a creative turn on the story and the emotions were very realistic. And because Lois Lane stuck by her husband instead of going back to Superman. I expect that to actually happen when good people are involved. No surprise that most Comic fans didnt like it much.

George Lucas the filmmaker is long gone but the businessman is now worth a little more.
