thbbbbfffffft! I will probably be having nightmares tonight.

In my honest opinion, it could have been a lot better. Needed way more Truman Show aspect to it. Didn't feel like you were watching a television show, at all. I'll give a C
Interestingly, I liked it a lot more than I thought I would. I don't like hyped movies, and paid no attention to it until I watched it. I liked the juxtaposition of the futuristic elements with the grittier, non-flashy scenes from District 12. Wouldn't show it to my kids, though.

Will you be acting out any of the scenes and posting a video blog of these scenes? A friend was asking.

oh, and waiting for Guffman, finally last night. As expected, hated it it thoroughly. I hate all things Wes Anderson, pretentious americana with BS indy soundtracks. Its a boring and insulting formula. I liked the Life Aquatic, ONLY because Bill Murray and the other dude there made it a great flick, AND I was a huge Jacques Cousteau fan as a kid.

And Jason Schwartzman can lick my balls, hate him too. And Zach Braf.

Humph.

waiting for guffman isn't wes anderson, it's christopher guest. and it was almost completely improvised, so i don't see how you get 'formula' out of improv.

I think what SJ said can still be true, even if the film was improvised. He claimed that the comibination of prententious Americana and an indie soundtrack is a "boring and insulting formula." As long as the improv sill contains elements of "prententious Americana" found in the other films he dislikes, then SJ's opinion could still be consistent.

they were there, we just didnt know it as young guys. Its a wonderful movie, and its great for two main perspectives, one being a young womans, who no doubt deals with the stress the girl in the flick does everyday. and for an adult, who can look back fondly with a bit more wisdom are remember a really innocent time in our lives.

You have misinterpreted a few things. First, I just liked that comment, I didn't post that comment on youtube. Second, the individual who made that comment wasn't referring to that school or any in particular. Third, if you're trolling and/or sarcastic, it's all good.
