Will. Everyone hates SJ, no?

Yeah, I liked that one too. And some of his SNL skits were great.

Hang 'em High
1968 Western, Clint Eastwood

It gets a B+ from me. Lots of killin' and horses, good times. Got the Skipper from Gilligan's Island as a bad guy. He gets away though, whew!

Just saw Dark Knight Rises.

Reaffrimed to me why I don't go to the theatres anymore, and when I do...it's at least 3 months after a movie has come out. Movies ALL hype if you ask me.

I agree with SJ in terms of the story being about Wayne and his relationship to Gotham. Could've been great had the movie not been so god damn boring. Did not expect such an abundance of cheesiness. Could've been an epic movie.

Loved Bane and what they did with him. Could've been used even more. He commanded attention when he was on screen.

Overall disappointed. Don't even think I can rate it so soon after watching it.

Hunger Games

Was actually pretty fun..aside from almost every single part of it being ridiculous as hell...it was fun.

Yup, it wasn't everything, but any time you miss anything you start thinking "Shit, was that important, crap what was just said"
Could have been the theatre, but the one I was at wasn't ungodly old or anything.

Spiderman - 6/10 ...felt more like a movie you would watch with a girl than a superhero movie. Some scenes were visually impressive though.

Total Recall - 5/10 ...a lot of action scenes but gets boring after a while.

The Prestige- C+

Great cast, it's got Batman and Wolverine as turn of the century Magicians that hate each other. But the movie is a little slow, and bounces around a bit. Could'e used more on stage performances, and less blibble babble time changing script.

That looks fucking great. When I saw Tom Waits I thought my head would explode as the perfect way to complete that cast.

I saw 12 Assassins last week. I liked it very much. Great over-the-top evil guy in that one.

I've gotten into watching british movies, submarine, starter for 10. really well made, and really enjoy the acting, but it might just be my love of the english accent getting to me. either way, any british movies you guys reccomend?

Anything by Ken Loach. Anything by Mike Leigh. Anything by Michael Winterbottom.

There's also Neil Jordan. And Stephen Frears earlier stuff - he's pretty Hollywood now.

Going way back, try If…, O Lucky Man, or Brittania Hospital by Lindsay Anderson
