i enjoyed ghost protocol as well. i'm looking forward to renner being the new bourne. i've never been a fan of matt damon, but i've always enjoyed those movies. i only imagne enjoying them that much more with an actor who doesn't rub me the wrong way every time i see his face.

Didn't know it opened internationally before U.S. and Canada. Interesting.
Was promised the new Batman trailer before the movie but I never saw it.

Sci-Fi usually doesn't interest me whatsoever but that looks decent. Might have to check it out.

If they do it straight up and dont feed characters tired cliches (sp), this could be a classic.

i'm assuming you've seen Alien and Aliens...but if not, i highly recommend checking both of them out before this...it is connected yet not connected to the Alien films...from what i can gather the storyline centers around the question...who was the "space jockey" ?

Conceived as a prequel to Scott's 1979 science fiction horror film Alien, rewrites of Spaihts's script by Lindelof developed a separate story that precedes the events of Alien, but which is not directly connected to the films in the Alien franchise. According to Scott, though the film shares "strands of Alien's DNA, so to speak", and takes place in the same universe, Prometheus will explore its own mythology and ideas.

The Avengers

wasn't the best superhero movie I ever watched, would put the Dark Knight ahead of it but it was an enjoyable movie. A lot of comedy in the movie too.

Cabbie was there too watching the movie, thought he'd get premiere tickets for stuff like this, guess not lol

7/10

you're lucky you get to see it in 2D because we're basically forced to see it in 3D here.

I saw it in 2D and everything I've seen said I didn't really miss anything with the 3D. Great movie though. 9/10 for me. Difficult to cram so much into the movie, but they did a great job.

IMAX would be great but it is really expensive, watched it in 2D myself...don't really like watching movies like this in 3D because the fast action sequences never translate well in 3D.

yeah. would rather pay $20 to watch that.
previous Batman was great in IMAX.
but there is the problem of true IMAX and the lesser IMAX.
