just watched the girl next door.

Thouroughly enjoyed it, it's a feel good movie along the lines of superbad. It just paints a stereotypical highschool, and puts a massive twist on it. Only thing about the movie was how incredibly unrealistic it was, not the plot, but rather the successful intelligent kid actually doing well with girls at his school. Bitches be dumb at this age, and it is incredibly rare for them to go on anything more than looks. but whatever, that's life.

oh, and i'm definitely not ever calling Elisha Cuthbert some girl ever again

I appreciated it more 10 years ago. If I watched it now I would probably give it a low score as well.

War Horse. Schmaltzy, long, uncompelling story. 5/10.

Contagion 6/10
very slow, none of the characters really connected with me on any level.

Tinker tailor soldier spy 7.5/10
also slow at times, but it came together pretty well and had a great cast.

21 Jump Street

I thought it was hilarious and enjoyed Channing and Jonah together.

8/10, some good laughs.

No, I heard it was horrible though sorry.

Saw American Reunion on Friday night. Loved it, hilarious movie like all the other American Pie movies that have the original cast.

Saw Cabin in the woods last night.
It was pure fun from start to finish. Why anyone would give this a bad review is beyond me. They obviously never got it.

9/10 would have given it 8.5 but fuck they had mermen in it.

I was just about to post this. Oh Fassbender. I really really liked both of the viral clips thus far. the guy pearce weyland industries ted talk one was well done.
i really wish more and more, movies would go in this direction. the trope of the trailer has its place, but its so done. i like what fragments like this don't tell me about the movie, instead of what the trailer sort of does, or really does.

Because he can't find a ridiculously attractive foreign exchange student to go to prom. I know this was quite disheartening when this happened to me, though I was in junior high when American Pie came out. Is that dating myself? What's old on the internet these days?
