Speaking of Hollywood doing remakes of foreign Films (btw i hate this idea becaus eit seems Americans cant fathom watching something in subtitles)

What was better?

Let the right one in VS. Let me in

I recently watched Let Me In. Have yet to watch Let The Right Ones In, but I will.

Apparently they're pretty similar, save for a few differences. Ask SJ. He saw 'em both.

Watched Melancholia.

It was like two different movies for me. I guess it's supposed to be that way... Dunst's character was sometimes hard for me to watch because there were parts I could relate to. The rest of it... visually lovely. Might feel slow-moving, but it works. Very different.

Definitly a mind fuck movie.
Dunst shows you a great performance.
Seemed like an arthouse film to me.
I liked it.

COuldnt remember if it told us the reason for her episode and melancholia

I totally loved this film. Different and well acted.

Just watched Hangover 2. I'd say I liked it just as much as I liked part 1.

Watched Contagion and Warrior last night.
Both were decent stay at home while the weather sucks outside flicks.
I'd give contagion 6/10 and warrior 7/10.
I thought contagion would be more intense and scary, but it felt weak and wasn't suspenseful in the least.
Warrior was a fun underdog type movie... Nothing more.

Contagion sucked, and I didn't even like it really... Warrior though I thought was pretty good, but also missing something with a rushed ending.

Got a chance to watch The Descendents the weekend.
You had somegreat acting and a nice atmosphere throughout the whole movie.
Kinda made me want to move to Hawaii.
The story was deep though. Mother of two in a coma and an absent father having to take over.

Finally watched The Butterfly Effect. Never bothered before because I'm not a Kutcher fan and figured he'd make it stupid.

Really, really enjoyed it. Will watch it again.

#2 was good too. it was a straight to dvd movie (doesnt star Ashton), but has the same premise.

its a cheaper version of the first with a lot less of a budget, but the story is the same, so it is pretty cool.
