Thor was OK
Captain America was cool until last 20 minutes. Ending sucked real bad. Like Street Fighter the movie bad

Just saw Transformers 3, everything got blown up, it was kinda cool

You are hyping transformers but not the previous too.
I thought the ending to Captain America was nice. It really got us ready for an avengers movie.

Transformers I watched 1 hour and 45 mins of and nturned it off. It was annoying, and just seemd like I was watching a cheesy aerosmith video. Panned shots of destruction with shia screaming. Not good at all. I would even go as far as saying it was the worst movie i saw this year.

I watched Transformers twice in a week. Was average at best. watched on the front row of theater in 3D... everything was HUGE
Are there any decent movies recently?

The Fighter
Devils Double
OUr Idiot Brother

I watched these three in the past couple months and they have stood out as some of the better movies.

Our Idiot Brother... it wasn't bad, worth a watch. But not one of those movies that you watch over and over and never get sick of. Wasn't quite as good as I thought it might be.

Went with 11 family members to see Twilight. So awesomely awful. Acting is terrible. Love scenes laughable. Great time had by all. We even got Bella and Edward wedding invitations as we went in....and a shot of "blood". Cant wait for next year!!

Saw We Live In Public the other night.... (Pictures & Photos from We Live in Public - IMDb)

Some of it made me feel unsettled (the 'Quiet' stuff). Other parts I understood, because I get the draw of voyeurism, or making yourself available to viewers (though it went beyond overboard).

But the main guy just bothers me. I get that he has a knack for forecasting where the internet will take us, but... he just seemed like such a blowhard. Not likable.

Going back and seeing the internet first start out was pretty cool. Worth a watch, if just for that and to see the shit this dude got up to.

I thought OUr Idiot Brother was very well written. The three sisters all blamed their troubles on the brother, when in actual fact he was not the problem at all.
I dont think it got the recognittion it deserved.

I think it was mis-marketed, to be honest. Most people I know that saw it were disappointed because it wasn't the type of comedy they thought it would be.

Very true, if you thought it would be like role models or 40 yr old virgin. Then You would def be dissapointed. Maybe the trailers made it seem that way.

It was really more like an indy film if you ask me.

it was a rare evening at my place last night..girlfriend had the day off and i had no hockey...we decided to make a nice dinner, grabbed a couple of bottles of good Red and sat down to watch a few movies by the fire...nice

Conan

Jason Momoa was ok in the film but he isn't Arnie...in the end we both felt it was hollow and disappointing....can't give it anymore than a 5/10

Horrible Bosses

if it wasn't for the excellent chemistry between Bateman, Day and Sudeikis this film probably would have failed...but they are great together !
some good laughs from this one...we both enjoyed it...oh and Colin Farrell's hair was hilarious...7/10

Super 8

J.J. Abram's Close Encounter with E.T., Gremlins, Jaws and Jurassic Goonies...probably the most authentic Spielberg film Spielberg never directed..we were both waiting for Richard Dreyfuss to make an appearance ...the kids in this film were excellent (all newcomers)..particularly Elle Fanning..she absolutely nailed some difficult scenes (watch for her in the future)
we really enjoyed this film !...easy 8/10
