Watched Hangover 2 tonight. Was really good. Same thing as the first thought but still really funny.

watched T3 too last night, in 3D and some of the scenes were cool but I'm done with this gimmick. Never paying $14 for a 3D movie again till Avatar 2 comes out. Maybe it was the Cineplex theatre I go to but it's just not that impressive.

But some scenes were pretty funny with John Turturro, John Malkovich and Alan Tudyk
who was in Tucker and Dale vs Evil...if you haven't watched that movie, download it when you can.

4/10 for T3, I didn't go in with any expectations, I just wanted to watch the MI:4 trailer before the movie and it didn't even show up. Just Real Steel and Planet of the Apes which looks insane.

can't wait to watch Horrible Bosses next week

Alan Tudyk is in Transformers 3? Maybe I will reconsider seeing it ... eh, on second thought, maybe not.

3D is going the way of the DoDo imho...it's ok at times but i also find it distracting while watching a film
imho the ONLY time it made a difference was with Avatar..the 3D blew me away in that film

i'm seriously considering watching the First Avenger on a normal screen

don't think so, when Michael Bay's name came up I was already leaving but then a little bit with John Turtorro and the blonde agent, just a little comedy scene...then back to credits, don't think anything happened after that.

I will for sure, seriously there's no point of watching it in 3D. Captain America's also post production 3D conversion so it's just a cash grab. Sticking to 2D except for the movies that are actually shot in 3D: Tintin, The invention of Hugo Cabret, Spiderman, and Avatar 2 are ones I remember.

I finally got around to watching Bad Lieutenant: port of call New Orleans. It's a gas, as might be expected with Herzog and Cage. It ranks among my favorite Cage performances along with Vampire's Kiss, Face Off, and Wild at Heart. It's also a nice counterpoint to viewing Treme.

The soundtrack is a little too prominent for me, but it does work well at times. Mostly it's just a great character study involving a fucked-up cop that has surprising results when everything just seems to be melting down.
