Just watched Toy Story 3. The ending was really sad. I was born in 1990 so I watched the first toy story in 1995. So Andy's age was basically in line with mine. On top of this I had most of the Toy Story toys when growing up. This movie really touched me. To admit, I almost cried at the end lol.

George Cloney's "The American". 4/10. This movie has massive holes, most notably you don't give a shit about George Cloney, the movies protagonist. A paranoid coward who after killing his girlfriend, sleeps exclusively with prostitutes for remainder of the film. The movie attempts to be art house action film. It takes its self way to seriously. The final scenes of this movie are dreadfully unoriginal. The 4 is for the cinematography, which didn't have to work to hard, seeing as its subjects were small town Italy and prostitutes.

Its really nice to look at, There is enough visually to keep you watching. It is a really disappointing ending. If you really enjoyed metaphorical drama, maybe you would could piece enough together push beyond stereotypical tragic conclusion.

I read the book before I saw the movie and I'm glad that I did....

The book itself was decidedly "meh" IMO but it did a MUCH better job of actually portraying Clooney's character as a person with a lot more depth and humanity. I WILL say that I preferred the ending in the movie to the ending in the book though.

I didn't even know it was a book. I think if I read the book then saw the movie I'd be mad that they changed the ending. I hate when they do that.

Dinner for schmucks - 8/10 Was actually a pretty good and really funny movie, I enjoyed it and was way better than I was expecting.

Buried - 8/10 I was a big fan of the movie phonebooth years ago and always welcomed the same sort of concept in a movie (in which I mean based in 1 spot throughout the movie) has a decent story, and a really nice ending.

Gun - 3/10 It was a movie with 50 cent in it, what do you expect. Don't even know why I bothered wasting my time, predicted the movie within the first 15 minutes.

Takers - 8/10 Love these style of movies, and was a good movie, with lots of action.

Winters Bone 9/10. The Best movie/script of 2010. Jennifer Lawrence just may give Natalie Portman a run for her money In the Oscar hunt.

true grit 9/10-superb acting on all three parts. its not your classic western and the coen brother finally made a movie that can almost be deemed family. almost.

the fighter-9/10-once again superb acting and the plot, although somewhat overdone, added a twist by inducing crack cocaine to the events which unfold. directing was ok.

tron-4/10-very thin concept and the acting was remedial at best. i was hoping more from olivia Wilde. its your average hollywood eye candy, if your into nice effects and your satisfied if thats what the entire movie is, see it. otherwise, let it rot in hell.

Red
nice to see old guys (like me) can still kick some ass...entertaining film filled with self-deprecating humour...and Malkovich is hilarious
definitely worth picking up as a rental....7.5/10

Dinner for Schmucks
i'm a huge fan of Steve Carell but even he can't save this film from mediocrity...5/10
