You know what? I liked the musical ... yes, the storyline was weak, but the acting and singing and choreography and music and singing more than made up for the story (or lack thereof). With the movie, the acting was good ... but the the singing was passable, there was no real creativity, and the storyline was still blah. So .... not that great.

I can see people liking it ... the friend who chose the movie enjoyed it ... but she's a huge ABBA fan and pretty much sang during the entire movie. Too many things about that movie bothered me, is all.

Same here. I've watched it about 10-15 times and I never get enough. The homages to classic action flicks are enough reason to watch it alone.

Saw the Flock

just watched the latest Mummy... the dragon emperor...
this is exactly what a summer movie is supposed to be.
fun, filled with action, funny.
i loved it.... so did my date.
you just sit there and enjoy the movie, dont think about anything else... great flick.
this is what indiana jones was supposed to be like this summer, this killed indy, IMHO.

Has anyone seen either "Step Brothers" or "Pineapple Express" yet? Those are two that I really want to see right now.

Dr.J. I saw Step Brothers opening day. It was good. I gave it a 7/10. I would rank it as better than Semi-Pro, but not better than Anchorman

Really .... I would thought it would been funnier. Ah well, I guess I'll have to see it for myself.

Thanks Tommy.
