Just wondering. If Pac, Biggie, and Big L never died would they be as big as they are today? Or would they just merge in the background with the likes of Nas and all of the other guys?

Speaking of solid releases. Should have seen the dookie I put down last night. I named it Vin Diesel. aka Fast and Furious.

Big L didnt have the finese to be as big as the first two. He would have went the way of nas.
Pac and Biggie.
They would be bigger than Jay-Z. No doubt.

+1

In terms of technical skill I think Biggie is the best ever. Tupac is hugely overrated in my opinion, but I can see why he won over so many fans.

Pac had the passion in his voice that you could feel though, but I hear what you're saying thought. I dont lisen to as much Pac as Biggie or L.

If Big L didnt die he might've blown up cause before he died he was on the cusp of blowing. Appearing on yo mtv raps, mad interviews on stretch and bobbito etc. He was about to sign to rocafella and team up with Jay-Z and a few others before he passed.

And I agree Big L didnt have the finesse to make soft mainstream joints but back in the day it was the raw shit that was at the forefront.

Most underrrated rapper is AZ though, dude is still kickin, had mad classics versus and shit but hardly anyone recognizes dude. His flow is impeccable too

I think Biggie would be the most popular out of the 3 if they were all alive. In his Life After Death album, he ditched the hardcore beats for softer radio-friendly music with attractive choruses (although I heard this was Diddy's idea). Really that is the kind of rap music that is doing well in the industry today.

For the record I like both of them. It's not really fair to compare them because they have different rapping styles. Pac is usually faster and relies on the meaning of lyrics. Big is slower but is more about word play and rhymes.

Yeye they had different styles Biggie didnt have exceptional wordplay imo he just had a flow no one could touch. He could make average rhymes sound better

Pac to me was the west coast.
His passion for music is what drove him, and drove peopel to love him.

Ever wonder why pac had so much unreleased material. The guy loved the studio and he loved to rap.

AZ and Black Thought have to be the two most underrated emcees ever, fuck. I've said this before but AZ's verse on Life's a Bitch is the greatest verse ever spit. And yeah, dude is still spitting fire, clearly:

I mentioned this a few weeks ago lol. I hope AZ and Nas do a album together like how Nas did a album with Damian Marley.
