I already tried changing my Wifi channel, have a secure password, etc. Any suggestions?
1. Do a hard reset on your modem. There should be a reset button that you can press with a pen.

2. Update the drivers on your network interface card and make sure your OS is updated.

3. If you are too far away from your router when using the Wi-fi you might need a wireless extender to boost the signal.

4. Replace the router. Or you can buy your own router and bridge it to the Rogers modem. You can do this by connecting an Ethernet cable into your LAN port of your Rogers modem and connecting the other end into the store bought modem's WAN port. Then you can disable the Wi-Fi on your Rogers's modem by going into router settings.

Im assuming you got one fo the newer modems? Yeah the wifi is horrible. Best thing to do is just buy a router from bestbuy for like 75 bucks and run your wifi through that and disable it from your modem/router rogers uses. ALSO, if you are renting, consider a cheaper one if you do this. Go with the Cisco router

The router that's built into the Rogers modem is absolute ass.

Get your own router and get them to disable the one within the modem.

Depending on how important internet is in your household and your budget, I recommend this one.

R6300 | WiFi Routers | Networking | Home | NETGEAR

I have the Ultimate package from Rogers. They advertise a 150 Mbps with a wired connection. I've regularly gotten 175-250 Mbps since getting this router.

Fucking beauty.

Gmail or Outlook are fine. They're reputable and potential employers recognize them (from an HR persepective).

As long as your email isn't offensive and is professional (I use my full name given with a dot in between) you should be fine. If you need to put a number (1983) for e.g. you'll be fine as well.

If you live in an area with more than 3 or 4 wireless networks, and you use the wireless router provided by your ISP, you are almost certainly going to have at least intermittent speed and connectivity issues. The wireless routers onboard the modems provided by ISPs will have only the 2.4 GHz band, which is congested in most areas of most cities because anything and everything tries to use that band.

One thing you can try doing is get them to change the wireless channel on your modem/router. Plausible options include channel 4 or 9, but it is hard to be sure without using a program like Inssider to confirm/deny congestion in your area.

Like many suggested above, you really should get your own router, preferably dual-band.

bet you didn't think Nene would have 9 assists last night lmao

I'm interested in getting into some sports betting too. How much can you realistically win with a bet like that if you won? And do online betting sites have higher payouts?

Had a dream last night that the Devil Rays signed a 13 year old pitcher from Japan.

that bet I had yesterday I put 5 bucks, the payout was 35. So yeah there are realistic one that are there. I believe the odds are better and you can do single bets as well

Hey Box, yeah, I bet quite a bit online. It took me a lot of time to figure out what works for me and what doesn't. I don't really want to hijack this thread so we can take it to the betting forum, but I suggest building your bankroll and staying away from parlays. You want parlays, play Proline. You need to build a bankroll.

Tonight, I'm taking the under on the vandy/mizzou game (I think you get still get it at 132). Take a look at Detroit as well in hockey at +135.

Also, to build up a bank roll quickly, I suggest some live betting, but stay away from basketball on a night like tonight. Lines are sharp when you have so few games.

Hey Claudius, thanks for the advice. Just saw this. I won today, did a small two dollar bet and got 7 back, but lost a couple others so only got 2 bucks tonight. Ive only been doing parlays so far. Ill post stuff I have over there to not get this off topic. Thanks again!

I stay away from perlays. You need to keep track of injuries etc, too. I also try to stay away from betting on raptors, imo you can't be bias when betting
