Lol true you sounded a bit younger. You need more confidence in my opinion, say them bars with some sort conviction. Emphasize the rhyming syllables, that'll help increase some flow and delivery. But forreal though your flow needs to be tidied up a fair amount.

Good points, thanks. I started it as a past time thing a year or so ago. I will be sure to work on it when I get some time

Do you freestyle? That helps improve flow, especially when you switch up beats etc. When you just write you can't expect to have good delivery because your not actually rapping. I know a lot of ppl like that. They can write decent bars but they cant spit it as well as I or someone else could even though it's their own rhymes.

I barely freestyle- only from time to time with friends. When I do freestyle though it's more of just for fun thing. I suck terribly at freestyling though because I can't come up with rhymes on the top of my head, I need to prewritten lyrics.

Freestyle man, trust me. The rhymes will eventually come easier if you keep trying. You need to actually rap to sound good at rapping. When you just write your not practicing the verbal aspect. This is just my opinion though. Cause yeah ppl can pre-write and then rap it properly but those are ppl that already have their delivery down pat.

Problem is I don't really get time to do that and rap is like on the lower of my priority list. I'll try to practice it when I do get some time though.

But thanks so much for your feedback, otherwise I will always think I am Nas or something when I am writing/rapping bars.

was watching sesame street with my kid today and there was quite a hilarious moment of adult humour. well to me at least. One of the muppets was talking to a puppeteer (a bit where they talk to random people about their jobs) and the guy was talking about how you can make puppets out of lots of household items. Then the sesmae street charter takes two CD's and holds them like a talking mouth and says (in funny voice) "I'm a compact disc..... nobody loves me anymore.

I LOL'd and my daughter was all 'why are you laughing dad?'

Not sure where you live but the Green Beanery on Bloor street is apparently decent.

Balzac's is a pretty good place but not sure what they have paraphernalia wise.

I live within 20-50 metres of that place. I will probably never go there though.

Stuff you may hear there:

Is this coffee fair trade?

I support local business.

My apple laptop is so creative and innovative. I'm just going to sit here using this creative outlet and extension of myself while I drink this $5 coffee for the next few hours.
