I went to the Bowie exhibit yesterday. A lot of old people. But it was great getting submerged in all of it. I saw this video for the first time. Love the guitar on five years here. The scat singing had to be the side effects of the cocaine.

Broke my pinky finger yesterday playing basketball and gotta go see a specialist today to take a look at the damage.

Normally, I wouldn't care, but with a baby on the way in a couple of weeks, the timing right now really, really sucks.

actually i would say with the baby a couple weeks away, the timing is pretty good! shittiest thing is getting a injury that requires repeat Dr visits right after the baby is born.

I say try to keep the pinky as crooked as possible - could provide for hours of entertainment for the little one.

does anyone have any experience sending anything expensive/delicate by mail?

I ask because my sister left her laptop at home when she back to school (in Kingston) yesterday, and my dad is worried about sending it to her in the mail.

I assume you don't have the original packaging.

Take it to Canpar. They have an extra care option. There's a charge for it, but it's never put on a conveyor belt or tossed around. Handled carefully the whole way there.
