oh sorry mr. worldly taste man.
I've been to LCBOs (or SAQ's or whatever they're called there) in la belle province and never once did i think they had that much a different selection than we have here.

you're hilarious and your legend keeps growing.

no not really.. Variety wise we are quite respectable, If you go to buy beer in Germany they are going to have a lot of German beer but not so much International. (just an example) Plus the bars that we have are quite hard to beat, places like Rhino, beer market etc. have well over 400 different kinds if that is not respectable selection I don't know what is..

Probably partially due to the fact that you've completely fucked your reputation on all fronts on this forum from your crazy posts over the years.

Jan Wong: Why the LCBO?the antiquated, paternalistic monopoly that?s deliberately gouging us?has got to go Page 2 of 2 | torontolife.com

Quote:
This is the LCBO’s 85th year in existence. Most Torontonians alive have only known a government monopoly, so it’s hard to imagine freedom. But we can look to Alberta, which dismantled its provincial monopoly 19 years ago. Pillaging and mayhem did not ensue. Instead, privatization led to greater consumer choice—eight times the number of products and double the number of retailers. Revenue collected by the province includes a government markup, which varies depending on the product type and alcohol percentage. In 2011, Alberta’s liquor revenue totalled $683.5 million.

A regular connoisseur. No wonder you feel so lacking in choice.

If the LCBO or beer store had more brands I might have a different favourite. I've tried a decent amount of beers and keith's has been my favourite. it's an opinion.

by no margin have I had a lot. I meant my favourite of what I have tried is keith's. sue me.

as for selection, the only reason I said we lack selection is because i've travelled quite a bit and seen the other countries' selections, and I've seen the selection here. it's not great. and that article backs me on it.

if you disagree, disagree and state your case. this forum has an infraction policy and one reason one would get an infraction is personal insults. lately i've been being attacked left right and center on everything and no mod has done anything about it. hell some of the mods have been the ones throwing them around. it's fucking ridiculous
