haha just watched this at home. I love that commercial.

Here's an idea for the old man watching TV. Unplug the headphones to your listen up and put them into the TV. It'll sound better.

The gym scene is the best.

infomercials / TV exclussive product commercials are the best.

I can see you're as a big a fan as i am.

Oh yes. I'm a child of the Didi Seven era. A lot of the newer ones, such as the Magic Bullet, are produced by people just like you and I who have always found the humour in the ads so it's all intentional. Back in the day though, woosh! Like, BluBlockers and Ron Popeil's dumb assed pasta machine, co-hosted by Nancy 'Poodle Hair' Nelson, who Ron continually gets frustrated with because she's so stupid.

I often picture doing horrible things to people, but the worst has to be contemplating the actual physics involved in accurately predicting how far I could hoof a toddler.

Now, the question is, are these truly horrible thoughts?

Do we not own our own thoughts, or should we feel ashamed for picturing voilent things.

I'm epically relieved that I'm not the only one who walks by a toddler and wonders how far I could jolt it. Weight and height of the child are always taken into account.

Thought I was nuts. Or maybe we're both nuts.

Stuff under the deli glass at grocery stores is very hit or miss. Best to stay away all together.

same goes for any 'daily special' in a restaurant. it's just a way to get rid of any accumulating food that is soon to be past it's prime...

I have a friend who works in a butcher's shop and a lot of the time butchers will ground pork and stick it into ground beef because it weighs more, and it's cheaper.

That's shady. I worked in a meat shop in a grocery store when I was in high school for a year. We never did that and if anyone caught you with beef and pork touching they would light your ass up.

I did actually make ground beef. We typically only used scraps left over from cutting steaks unless ground beef was on special. Then you can't keep up with the demand doing it that way. In that case the cheapest cut of meat was ground up. The grinder also had to be cleaned at the end of every day.

When I find someone annoying I always wonder what would happen if I just ran full out at them and bodychecked them.

Naw you're allowed to think whatever you want. The only thing that matters is how you act on your thoughts. There is a big difference between a thought that is just out of wonder and surpressing an urge to do those things.

I think about beating the stuffing out of all kinds of people haha...I've been in situations where I could have easily started throwing punch and I still don't. It's stupid, I have too much to lose......

Although it didn't stop me from yanking the guy out of his seat and throwing him onto his table

(Just so we're all clear I wasn't an asshole, it was a long story of my and my friends NOT sucking. The other people got thrown out, the waitress got fired...it was quite a scene)

Why do we call a "grilled cheese sandwich" a "grilled cheese sandwich"? 99.9% of you don't go to the grill outside, no, you drop some bread, butter and cheese into a frying pan and do it up. It should be called a "Fried Cheese sandwich".

I was at the Philty's on King street on a thursday night for a buddy's birthday. He's a low-key kind of guy and about 10 of us got there for dinner. We ate, had some beers, whatever.

Another group of his friends started to show up, so we settled our initial bill, left a nice tip and 5 of us (myself, 3 buddies + 1 gf) moved to another table so some other people could bask in the birthday glow haha.

So we're just chilling, minding our own business, when of all a sudden a plate, like a whole PLATE filled with cheesy bread comes flying over and lands on the table! So we look at the other table with us, figuring someone is fucking around and they are looking as surprised as us.

We look over at this table of 4 guys and a girl, all the guys are wearing suits and like at least 30. They look pretty pleased with themselves. So I walk over and say "what the fuck are you guys doing? Grow up, you're wearing suits coming from work"

(I was peeved at this point in time but not really mad at all)

So then one guy says to me "but it was funny" (and now I was fucking pissed because he seems to think he can do whatever he wants)

me (yelling) : "I don't fucking care if you think it's funny, don't do it again"

guy: "It was funny so if I want to do it again I will"

girl at their table: "I threw it, look i'm sorry"

Me: "I don't even care about that now, this guy thinks he can do whatever he wants"

guy: "I can"

There was a stool between us I threw that out of the way, grabbed him by his shirt threw him against his table, picked him up, tussled with him a bit (I was just trying to sort of hold him until the bouncers came, I could have hit him a bunch of times or thrown him on the floor if I wanted to but I don't want to get arrested).

My other buddy comes over puts him in a full nelson. There were like 20 of us and 5 of them, soooooo no one else moved. Guy was bitching and moaning about how I needed my friends to hold him back, I just kept telling him he was lucky they were just holding him and not beating him senseless.

Manager comes over, boots out the other guys. Turns out the girl at their table was another waitress, they paid her $20 to throw the plate. She got canned.

We got a bunch of free drinks.

I wish the waitress didn't get fired. I talked to the manager about it and he said "We're in a recession you guys are coming in here and spending a lot of money I can't have my staff throwing things at people, it's insane. What would she have done for $100?"

He made a good point. So that was it.
