Default Question about exercise machines

I'm looking to get an exercise machine thatll work out the stomach as well as give a good cardio workout at the same time or seperately if even possible. The only thing I have found that does cardio and the stomach region is the eliptical... Anyone have any other suggestions? Something under 1k. And whats the best store to go to for selection and what I'm looking for?

Elliptical is the best machine. You can get a Nordictrack for $899. It ain't no precor but it is a decent one. http://www.nordictrack.com/webapp/wc...79609_-1_19053

Or hit up Costco because they have some good prices as well.

Honestly... if you're looking for ripped abs diet is the key. That and running in the mornings before breakfast will help you burn a ton of fat.

As for building ab muscle... save some cash and buy a decline bench or a slant board or a roman chair. As long as you're consistent with your routine you can develop some killer abs. I think that Ryan Reynolds (who had some of the best abs that I'd ever seen on a guy) did about 500 crunches/day.

Good luck! lol...

What TO said.

The abs are already there, it's getting rid of the fat around them.

Cardio in the morning before a meal is good. Since you have no food for energy, your body will draw from your fat stores for fuel.

Whenever I've exercised before breakfast I've gotten sick and nearly pass out. I suck.

I'm not fully going for a 6 pack or anything like that, I just want to make sure theres no fat build up going on especially since I havent been able to ball as much lately. I'm only like 135 pounds but I still dont wanna develop bad habits and turn into a fatass, nor get dead legs when I play ball for too long. On my days off if I cant ball or whatever and I have time this exercise machine would be the perfect thing if I have some time to kill, and also to develop a daily routine so I can make sure I'm working out every day so I am more energetic during the day. I find after I exercise I'm more focused on doing other stuff too I dont know why.

Depends on if you're talking about aerobic (cardio) or anerobic (weights) exercise.... I've found that I can't push weights on an empty stomach either... but I can do cardio as long as I don't push the pace too much.
