here's my advice

if you find a girl who can tolerate you, you lock that shit down and give her your all. losing a long distance friend is of no consequence since it won't effect your day to day livelihood.

hopefully she won't leave you when she finds out that she has a bigger cock and balls than you, dude.

So this girl I know, we did the summer work exchange to quebec last year together, i.e both from toronto east, both went to the same region in quebec. we got to know each other well. at first I actually hated her, but as I got to know her better we got closer. now, something to note here, we see each other often, but not regularly, i.e it's almost like a friend in distance so it's always a catch up get together kinda ordeal. which is nice. she's one of the girls I feel most confortable in my own skin around, and there's been a sorta mutual attraction ever since prom I think it was. her more strongly than mine at the time I believe.

now as someone on here stated before, the key to a relationship is to find a gal that annoys you the least. well, this girl's just that. and i'm not looking for some short fling, which is wierd given my age I know but what ya gonna do. so, would you say I should pursue this, bring it up, see what happens? or, just keep the friendship as it is, something to fall back on, someone i'm comfortable around. thanks you lot.

I believe I forgot to add this point, the fact that I am not sure whether the feeling is mutual. It is a predicition off my part, as no conversation about such a thing has ever occured. so If I do take the plunge I could come out with nothing, and lose a great friendship.

you know, i was once in your shoes about six years ago. i put off the relationship thoughts for about a year, then i realized that i was being an idiot for not realizing what was in front of me. now, we've been engaged for over a year and we're getting married next year.

on the rejection side, it's happened to me as well. it never ruined our relationship at all, it only cleared up the mixed feels we shared at the time. i think we actually became closer because of it.

do you guys ever talk about relationships? you'd be thick if you didn't get your answer out of that convo.

that's a great story, congrats dude.

that's good to know about the rejection side of things.

we do talk about relationships, but only past relationships, there was turmoil during the exchange (at which point we were just friends), and we helped each other get through tough breakups. so we just recall stories about that. tough to get an idea from that.

but thanks man, this post most definitely helped.

Re: rejection

For most guys, chicks are like baseball. If you're batting .300, you're doing well. But that means you're gonna get called out 70% of the time. The thing is, you gotta take chances and cast a wide net, so that you get in enough plate appearances.

What Haverchuck is saying Pzabby - stop sitting on the bench and get out there and swing the bat.

It sounds like you're making the wrong decision every time. You need to start doing the complete opposite of what you think you should do.
