This workout really works. It's hard as hell as well.

i have a bootleg of the entire P90X workout... its absolutely insane.

2 friends of mine did the full regimen and it worked wonders.
one dude was an overweight slob, and in 60 days (he skipped the last 30), he was ripped. his confidence was the most recognizeable change, and he was so much happier.
another friend was a 40 year old guy going through a midlife crisis, he went on it and confided in me that he wasnt able to do 1 pullup, and by about the second month; he could do 8. and he lost about 20 pounds.

i havent tried it, but im thinking that i will in the future.
funny story, one night i tried the P90X yoga... i couldnt do more than 20 minutes... it is insane. i sweated more during that 20 minutes of yoga than i do after an hour liftiing weights.

Static contraction is the best workout.

Work smarter not harder.

I've been doing P90X for over a year now and the only one I haven't done is yoga! I always skip that one... but now you got me curious. I'll check it out.

I actually never watch the videos anymore. I just pull out the workout sheets and go on my own. I just couldn't stand listening to Tony anymore...

oh man, you have to try the Yoga, strung.
it is absolute pain.
its a good hour and 20 mins... and after about 30 minutes, i had to stop... i was sweating so much and its was so horrible to do... i have no will power.
you'll probably love it.

When I have more time in the summer I might try it out. My abs are okay-visible but could be more ripped. Im tryna gain some weight 'cause although I workout I wanna be more thick ya dig. My metabolism is nuts though, i gotta eat a shitload of chicken/protein to gain weight. Ppl tell me to try the protein shakes or w/e but I dunno if I should take em

Take'm. I'm trying to bulk up right now as well. I weighed 135 when I started working out. Now after 4 years of working out and taking protein shakes and other supplements I'm at about 172 pounds but I can't see my six pack down there so I started doing this workout. My goal is to get to 220 pounds.

Very, very tough to pack on a lot of weight AND have six-pack abs.

Usually it's either a "mass" phase or a "cut" phase for people. Mixing both tends to slow the results both ways.

135 to 170 and you want to be 220?

How tall are u dude. Ive been killing it in the gym for over a year now. Im at about 170 which is my optimal weight. I can probably bulk up to 180-185 without looking too ridiculous, but after that its just bodybuilder size. Not good.

That only works for Smurfs like you.... bigger guys need to cut or eat.

Kidding Saucer! Don't guillotine me!!

Judging by the dude's avy I'd say that he isn't concerned with getting "too big". lol.

hahaha you kill me. The whole thing I said works in theory lol ... i did it for a little while last summer ...worked, but yeah very hard to bulk(muscle) and cut (fat) at the same time.

Im trying to do a bit of both right now ...and results are slooooow ... like u said. But there are still results which is what counts. Few more weeks and then ill cut ...so i can be secksy for the summer time.

... also ...where u watching UFC tomorrow? Big event!

I have to go to a friend's bday party out in Collingwood.... so I'll likely miss it.

I suck.

It's cool though... I feel very satisfied to have seen that last free one with Jon Jones... if I would have missed THAT one I'd have been pissed.

I'm 6'0.5". My long term goal is 220 but if I feel to slow and sluggish at that weight I plan on cutting. For now I just want to get big as possible. There are guys at my gym pressing 140 pound dumbells. I want to get up to that stage but it's not going to be possible at my weight.

Yeah the bodybuilder size can look really weird... I have a friend that hits the gym daily and he's sitting around 175-180 and he's only 5'7". His body is so huge that his head looks tiny and he just looks disproportioned. He still plans on reaching 200 lbs too!!!

Ahh alright you got the height. I know everyone got their own goals and Im sure u know your body better than I do, so im not gonna preach lol. If I were u Id probably aim for the 200ish ... 205 range.

Have u had a hard time bulking recently? ...cause I find it past a certain point you just have to eat ridiculous amounts to keep proper gains without actually getting fat.

Im about 5'9 ... 170 like I said. Aside from gaining maybe another 5pounds of lean muscle or getting a bit more cut, Id probably start looking awkward if I got any more muscle. My buddy who I train with is 6'3 195 and hes not a thin guy by any means.

So i dunno ... 220 seems huge. But its ur own goal bro ... not hating. Good luck.

lol yeah I know what u mean. Especially for shorter guys it looks a bit ridiculous. Ive pretty much plateaued at 170 ... been there for almost a month and im pushing serious weights in the gym. So I dont know ... not a huge fan of supplements aside from protein shakes and maybe multi vitamins.

I dont get the obsession with getting huge. But everyone is different ...maybe someone finds what I do weird lol.
