How many of those guys are "natural" though?

That is an insane amount of weight to be able to push without the use of drugs. Unless you're just a huge guy (world's strongest man size).

I don't know if any of you guys have tried the "Animal" products but I'm using 2 of them right now (Animal Pak and Animal Flex). Both are basically vitamin supplements. One for a multivitamin and one for joints/tendons. It's been about 10-12 days now and I have to say that I have noticed a bit of a difference. My shoulder pain has gone away and I've been able to push more weight lately overall. My diet has remained the same so I can't really give the credit to anything else.

May merit checking it out.

Im about 5'9 ... 170 like I said. Aside from gaining maybe another 5pounds of lean muscle or getting a bit more cut, Id probably start looking awkward if I got any more muscle. My buddy who I train with is 6'3 195 and hes not a thin guy by any means.

So i dunno ... 220 seems huge. But its ur own goal bro ... not hating. Good luck..

Right now I've been stuck at 172 for about a month. If I can hit 220 I might go for 265 or something and join the hw division in the UFC. Nah, only jokes lol. I wish.

Currently the supplements I am taking are 100% whey protein, Superpump, and Size on. My biggest gain was going from 160 to 170 within a around 3 months which is really good for myself. The thing is I've been working out my legs with squats and etc so this has slowed my upperbody routine down.

Dude, I'm at a flabby 210 when I should be 180, so if you need any extra weight, I'd be happy to give it to you. The extra 30 comes from poutine, beer, anger, depression, anxiety, rage and age.

I dont get the obsession with getting huge. But everyone is different ...maybe someone finds what I do weird lol.
I think for your height 170 is a good weight. I'd stop right there and just maintain and start focusin on toning your muscles (if you haven't yet). I'm an inch shorter than you and I'm currently sitting at 155 (highest I'm willing to go would probably be 160-165). I have no obsession about being huge either.

As for my friend, I think he's more obsessed with gaining power... doesn't care about how his body looks. That's why he's aiming for 200 lbs. I swear, some day that guy will be carrying his car to work instead of driving it.

Getting there ya. There's a small gym at work so I've been going every day for the past 2 months or so. Just started going back to the outside gym about a week ago.

Lol.... and it's about 20 pills/day in all between the 2 supplements. Bit of a pain but whatever. If it gets the job done it's worth it.

I tried these videos last night, I didn't find them so bad, not sore this morning either.

It's essentially the same as doing 200 crunches and then 200 leg elevations. The problem is that no one will do those 400 excercises in a row. These videos mask that fact by altering them slightly.

I remember Usher said he did 2000 crunches a day. That's really all you need (after cardio burns away all the fat) to get ripped abs.

Why 'as big as possible'? Do you drive a chariot or something?

Ha! I wish. That's actually my ultimate goal but I still have a ways to go before I can get there. My arms are long so bench has never been easy for me. If I pushed my max I could probably do 250 I think... I've done reps of 225 without a problem. Mostly I stick with the "NBA strength test" though and do reps of 185. 15 reps is my current best.

I agree.

I heard that Ryan Reynolds (who also has sick abs) did about 500-1000 situps/day. And obviously had a very clean diet. Got great results though.

You can actually do alot with bodyweight exercises..... if you can do tons of pullups, dips, pushups, sit ups, etc... you'll be a beast... guaranteed.

Thats good though man ... u took a bunch of time off and thats legit weight to push. You got the size so doing 10+reps of 185 is gonna tone u nicely.

Today was a damn good day for me. Surprised myself ...but mostly cause one of my buddies was there to push me.

I started off with 185 to warm up. Did 10 cause I didnt wanna tire myself out before going up in weight. Then did 205 ten times. Then went to 225 ...which is the highest i ever attempt. Before my high was about 6. I did 8 with help on the last one from my buddy. Then the motherfucker made me bench 245 lol. I did 6 ... and he helped me on the last 2.

I think its mostly cause I was well rested and dont work out on weekends but yea Im proud. Did some incline after, followed by flies and decline. And the rest of my workout was some arm shit and abs. But Im damn proud today.

Damn you guys are benching a lot. My max is only 205. I can do 185 for 9 and for 11 if my buddy helps me a bit with the last to reps. However, I can go pretty hard on dumbells. 85 on each arm on the incline

If that's the case then you have LOTS of time to build muscle.

I didn't start working out until I was 22 or so.
