I was the shortest, skinniest kid in ,my class from grade school up until the end of grade 10. I was also painfully shy.

I came back in grade 11 and I was about 6'1/165lbs. Everybody that used to make fun of me for being so small and skinny started kissing my ass.

Pretty much has continued to this day. No one fucks with me - I'm a monster.

i was 6'1" in grade 8. never got bullied because i was so tall, but was also the lankiest, gangliest guy in the school, so that never helped with the coolness factor...

that sucks, but bullies are really some of the lowest bottom feeders. You wouldn't suit the role.

I remember in highschool there was this kid named Pius Wong who got picked on a bit. I guess he had enough because in one science class he stabbed a bully in the hand with a scalpel. At the time i thought "good for Pius".

I wasn't there personally. Maybe Hoops was. Remember that hoops?

Bully's don't screw with people that fight back...It's inconvenient, picking on someone that does ANYTHING back.

Even if you can beat them up worse everytime, you can just find someone else to pick on who won't do anything to you...So bullies move to them because they are the lowest of the low.

Really though, it's very natural to do it. I don't blame kids for it, it's just social wiring.

I had a 40 oz of vodka almost completely down, I never did promise myself that because I realized how stupid it was for me to drink that much. I am at university so I drink, but now a lot more responsibily because well, it's always in the back of my mind.

Awwwwww...shit. Yeah, I remember that. Pius got expelled from the school for that. That's too bad. I wasn't in class for that though. Some of the guys that picked on him were real assholes, notably, guys that played on the hockey team.

Speaking of expelled, Shit, I thought I would have been kicked out when I plagerized my ISU of Mark Twain books from a student 6 years previously and Sister Frances caught me red handed.

I used to make fun of the tallest kid in the class. Just kidding around. In fact, he was one of my best buds. Now hes in grade 9 and I'm the tallest in the clas and it gets really annoying when people say how tall I am. >

Thanks though.

We should start the same thread, but Basketball related.

Memories and stories.
It's true about a good memory. I can remember my first steps. See - that alone is interesting. I remember the trauma of walking towards my Dad who was crouching with his arms outstretched, until he figured that he wanted to see me go further, and he slid back just as I decided to lunge into his arms, which were no longer there and I went splat. I can actually remember the anger I had. It was terrible. I was screaming like crazy.

I find the stuff that I remember from the earliest years is always pretty amazing, and largely not influenced by outside complications that make memories more subjective.

Here's another thing from being a kid - I had one of those little tape recorders in the 70's and I spent hours recording my own radio show shows with that thing. Apparently at about the same time, and same age, Glenn Beck was doing the same thing.

I don't think he got expelled because he was in my Physics class the following year (or term - can't remember). I'm sure he would have gotten suspended though.

And Sister Frances was great. I remember when she was reading the end of "cry the Beloved Country" to us one English class, and she started to cry at the end. She had a passion for her work. So what did she do to you when you cheated?
